No, that's another way of gambling. Just cash out your bitcoin at coinbase or another place with less fees. Or you could buy gift cards with the btc and use that for groceries or whatever other expenses.

Just another form of gambling. Just once, stick to what you said and do yourself a favor. Cash out and stay out for a month.

Ya. That's what I did. Cashed out to bitcoin. Bitcoin is where my original deposit came from. I basically borrowed from my Bitcoin account to make these bets. Just using the surlpus on other cryptos.

If you are considering investing in other coins, have a look at the following chart http://bit.ly/2K6UOHJ
It has the growth rate of the top 2 dozen coins over each of the last 6 quarters.

Agree for the most part. I'd say 50% BTC but I'd also throw in ADA to go with BNB.

I would stick with BTC until it moves above 20k....then I might add to your ETH and LTC positions. Nothing much outside those coins in the next 6 months looks promising.

    No.

I've held over 70 different cryptos at one time. I lost money on all of them. If I would have been just holding bitcoin, I'd have 40% more bitcoin than I do.

Altcoins will probably go on another run when your barber, cab driver, and everyone in the office is talking about bitcoin again. That said, it is significantly more risky to hold alts and unless you're a professional trader, you'd be wise not to dabble.

After playing and interacting with many different blockchains, I personally believe that BTC will be top dog (network effects). Monero is basically the only other coin I'd even consider holding. Dash has a cool governance model, but the launch was a bit sketchy. EOS and ETH may have utility, but you'd probably be better off holding BTC and converting a very small amount to EOS or ETH right when you are using them. EOS isn't easy to use yet.

How hard are you trying to gamble? Oh, and Ripple (XRP) is 100% a scam. Avoid that one, tether, BCH, and TRX.

My natural instinct is to agree. However my current technical analysis project has taken an unexpected turn. It'll be a few more days before I can verify what I'm seeing. I'll discuss this when I'm comfortable with the results.

It depends on your risk tolerance and goal. BTC is safe. If you are looking for a 100x profit, then you'll need an alt.
