    ^ It's brutal
And stay in is exactly what I chose to do.
If I go out it's for a very good reason, if not there's plenty do do indoors.
I choose not to sweat and stink.

@JJ It's true we've had heat waves that have lasted 10 days unlike this one that'll last four but this heat wave has generated heat indicies that we haven't seen in decades.

What heat? Northeasteners are soft. We call this spring weather in Atlanta. No one dies in Atlanta in 95 degree weather. Pussies!

It's brutal, went there to visit my cousin last week. Went to play early but even the shithole local course was booked solid until noon which I've never seen so I hit the range instead. My car said 92 but it felt like more and the air was wet with humidity, it was awful. I mean I hit some good shots but dear lord

Floated the river yesterday and I look like a lobster despite putting on sunscreen multiple times, swimming under a lot, and wearing a damn shirt on the last part

Make sure you guys blow out your A/C unit and get out all the debris once a year. It's the easiest thing to do... watch a YouTube Video on how to do it... if you don't know how.

Save some $ don't ever call the A/C repairman.

We get sh#$ that flies in the air here in Michigan. It looks like cotton and it hatches from these particular trees in Michigan. Once it's in the air... it's like a magnet to an A/C unit outside. Forms like a thick web/coating on the A/C unit. If the coils are blocked puts more pressure on all the A/C components... compressor etc. Kind of ages the unit quicker.

You should always go and inspect your A/C unit once a year... make sure there's proper air flow on all sides. No overgrown bushes.... or odd debris obstructing air flow. Units would last 20+ years if not longer... if homeowners would do this every year.

I was just looking through a few YouTube videos.... DO NOT PURCHASE cleaner or soap and coat the outside of the unit. All you need is some simple water pressure from a hose. Start from the top.... and work your way down... shooting water at an angle from outside the unit. Some videos suggest taking the entire unit apart. Depending on the year of the model you have... you don't need to do this. It's more of a pain in the ass to do this.

it wasn't too bad... unless you didn't know it was coming and prepared for it with some proper foods/fluids if you had activities planned and or/outside work

tougher for the really old folks tho that don't have anyone to check on them... I'm sure if they don't know what month it is let alone their middle name then that leads to some easily preventable deaths

Funny about that, where were the libs during the dust bowl in the 30's
There were no carbon footprints or greenhouse effects or anything like that. It was the 30's man. Weather is cyclical, some people don't get that.
It's over now as a bad ass T-Storm came for 2 hours and dropped the temps 12 degrees or so.

Ice ages, droughts and floods certainly happened throughout history.. Earth is always a climate changing beast. As long as the air stays clean in most of the world unlike in China we should be good..
