As a low roller, football season only bettor, should I bother sticking to one site?

If I only deposit $500 every year for NFL/College and make $20 bets and cash out at the end of the season, is it worth it to stick to Bovada and slowly grow my account?

Or should I just sign up to a new site every year and get a 50% or 100% signup bonus?

    Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to posting!

If you are in it for a full a full season in any sport, yes take the bonus when available

Only bettors who like hit & run (win & withdraw) in short time frames should decline bonuses

Well I could take a 150% casino bonus and I have $30 rewards built up from last season on Bovada (was on 5Dimes prior).

But I’d rather have sports betting free play. Signing up for Heritage or Bookmaker (100% signup bonus) would be the better move as opposed to sticking to Bovada and building the account over the long haul to Hall of Fame level?

yea with such a small roll for betting you should be trying to build it as quick as possible and bonuses help you do that. Again it has to make sense though. If a site offers way better vig then you should probably stay with that site even without any bonuses.

    Thanks.

I see Bookmaker has a 30x rollover for a 100% bonus and Intertops has a 6x rollover for a 100% bonus. Would it be smarter to just go with the 6x?

Ignoring bonuses, there are many better sites than Bovada for football. 5 Dimes has the most offerings although Heritage has better lines a majority of the time during the week. as 5 Dimes Reduced Juice lines usually do not go up until gameday. So if you like betting early, I suggest Heritage. If you do not bet until day of game and enjoy tons of props, I suggest 5 Dimes.

You are starting with a small amount of money. The truth is that these "freebies" and bonuses that sites offer are rarely free. Go with the site that offers you the best odds. Eventually that is what is going to determine your W-L record. Another thing. 30X rollover is totally ridiculous. You will never hit it. You want to be able to get your money in and out as easily as possible. Every site has it's up's and down's. A little investigative work on your part now can pay off big dividends later.

Heritage would give you like %100 or 50% cash or so on 500, plus reduced juice, plus cashbook.

If I could only use one book, it would be heritage by a mile

Yup. Not even for the bonuses or whatever but for the variety of betting options and line shopping.

Sticking with just 1 out when you have options is a bad trait if you hope to become a winner long term.

    Best of luck this season.

What these people are trying to say is this. Every sportsbook is glad to take your money. Every sportsbook has it's ups and downs. You will never hear a sportsbook accuse you of any wrongdoing when you lose. The problem is what do they do when you win? This is what you had better determine. Offshore sports books are a racket. No matter what anyone in here may tell you, they have many reasons, legitimate or not, of refusing to pay you if you win. Your job is two fold. #1 is to win, which is something that 85% of the people who post in here do not do. Any book will take money from a loser. #2. Find a book that you are comfortable with. Disregard anything that anyone has told you. It is your money. Your investment. You have to be happy with the investment.

Doesn’t really matter if you plan on playin all season before withdraw, assuming you up should have no problem hitting any rollover. Never played with intertops, I’d prob go w bookmaker.

Bovada blows. Used to use Bodog before they went to Bovada. Would not post up another penny there. Weak shop.

Big difference between Pinny and Heritage/5 Dimes. Pinny is the sharpest book in the world, they can deal 2-cent lines if they want and still get you money (I am exaggerating but you get my point), whereas Heritage and 5 Dimes are more exploitable with Reduced Juice.

you are wasting 3 initial deposit bonuses by spreading $500 into 4 books which is worth more than reduced juice on football games the first year

Depends on your volume. For me, more important to always have reduced juice, that will more than make up for lost deposit bonuses with time. Although the OP said he bets $20 per game, so on second thought seeking bonus may be way to go.

if he bets 20 games for 20 weeks of football (which is alot for a rec player), its not even close to take a 100% bonus at only 1 book

you might make it up in the first year, but by year 2, you would be up alot more using only 1 book and still be eligible for 100% deposit at the next book
