    It is clear Shute has no idea what he is talking about. Goal Dif is a huge part of moving on in this tournament. Sweden will beat Thia 7-0 6-0 and they are in the same group. Scoring this many insures that we move on. Learn the game before you rip it....

    It's true that goal differential matters. Yes , their is a Golden Boot award for top scorer. When you do celebratory dances after goals 8 , 9 , 10 etc.....
    It's considered Bush League.

    I don't think many have an issue with the number of goals. It's the celebratory dances when up by 8, 9, 10 etc. Show a little class and tone it down a bit at that point.

    Don't say that on Social Media. I said the same thing (basically, no need to run it up like that, could have just killed the clock, etc).
    I got jumped on by all kinds of people (are Americans just full of bs now? :-)
    I gave an example from experience:
    I was a boxer when I was younger (well, maybe more of a sparring partner :-)
    But it's like when a guy is TKO on his feet:
    You could continue to pummel him, but if you see he's done, why just continue to beat the crap out of him?

    Could you imagine what will happen in baseball if a team is up 12-0 and someone hits a home run in the 9th inning to make it 13-0 and everyone starts to celebrate like they won the World Series? A brawl will happen.

    Teams kill time when they are only up 2 goals, these ladies were up double digits. Maybe they need to be humbled again by losing to some 14 year old boys
