They played Golden State at full strength and every game was decided by 6 points or less

First they did not play every game at full strength - Durant didn't play at all in game 6, and didn't play at all in the 4th quarter of game 5. They lost game 6 at home and got destroyed in the 4th quarter of game 5 when Durant wasn't on the court - Leonard would have guarded Harden the whole series and Toronto would have likely won in 6. If Leonard had played another 20 games this Raptor team would have had the best record in the league and they are elite defensively - well built for the playoffs.
