Can the Golden State Warriors win an NBA Finals game w/o Thompson, Durant & Looney
Thompson is listed as questionable, but got to think he plays
when KD decides that his "broken nail" is better he will get back into the game
rest assured that if the warriors go up 3-1 at any point he will want to play and be on the court

I think Clay will play and KD wont . They can win or lose with Clay . Without him I think it would be difficult. Last game zone 2-2 with Fred on Curry worked nicely. I think without Clay Nurse will play more combined defenses like that . In my opinion this series would be super competitive

Thompson just makes smart reads.... and he's a great defender...
Curry sucks at defense.... and Durant is 50/50

Cousins doesn’t have to be special. This possible clay injury does kinds throw a wrench in things., I felt pretty strongly they didn’t need KD or boogie but also said the one exception was they couldn’t afford any more injuries., looney going out makes them need boogie to give them solid play, if clay can’t be himself then yea unfortunately they would prob need Durant.. that a real bummer, I was really enjoying gettin to be on dubs after KD went down!! Lol.

I don’t think there any chance KD be 100% and think it even more unlikely he steps right in and plays at a high level. Much rather kd stay gone and clay was healthy enough!!
No I’m not. I been clear from beginning as long as nobody else got hurt they didn’t need kd or boogie but obviously with them out no room for other injuries. Losing Looney makes boogie important, losing clay and I think they might be screwed. I believe kd coming back and clay being out or limited hurts their chances.

Oh... I agree with that. I think Thompson is the best all around player. I think he's healthy enough to go... right? He is questionable... but says he's ok.
Man I hate guys coming back early with hammies. As a Warrior fan I'd rather see him sit and risk losing game 3 instead of losing him for the series.
I'd toss him out there regardless unless its clear he's compromised and hurting the team. If he's only playing through pain, who cares. Play Cousins 40 minutes. Play Curry 44 minutes. Play Klay. There's nothing to save these guys for. Would toss Durant out there for 40 minutes too in game 4. If he tears his calf, fukk it, there's no more basketball after this. You can't be saving players at this time of the year. That's why I respect Kerr for putting Cousins outthere game 2 and playing him 30 minutes. Most coaches would be like "lets slowly work him back into the mix. He tore his quad and his achilles." Well if you don't start cousins in game 2, you lose, simple as that. Durant should be playing in game 3. He's going to play in game 4, but if it were me, I would play him in game 3 regardless of if he's practiced or not. It's not like you're throwing a guy from free agency onto your team. They don't need time to gel or practice together.
I hear you... Thompson is tougher than a horse. Once he asked to come out.... that's when I was shocked. Don't recall him every asking to come out. I figure the training staff would get him able to play Game 3.

The Warriors entered The Finals loosely targeting a Game 5 return for Kevin Durant from the strained right calf that sidelined him May 8. But with Steve Kerr saying that Durant is "ramping up" his workouts, perhaps Friday night's Game 4 (on June 7) is still in play
