The 1st leg ended in an Ingolstadt victory ( 2 -1 ) , with Wehen scoring an all important goal in 90 +6 minutes of added time. Only a few short years ago , Ingolstadt was a 1st division side that fell to the 2nd division through a relegation playoff. With the lack of funds available to compete for promotion , they now find themselves battling to avoid an addition relegation to 3rd division. The last 8 games has shown that Ingolstadt are a side very capable of returning to winning ways ( 6 - 1 - 1 ). Wehen are a small market side worth an estimated $ 7 million in transfer value ( Ingolstadt are $ 18 mill ). They managed to sustain a late run to hold on to 3rd place in division 3 , and compete in this playoff format. Although they are in a difficult position , needing to win in Ingolstadt and score a minimum of 2 goals while doing so , they had success on the road with an 11W - 2D - 6L record. More impressive is the fact that they were over 2.5 goals in 16/18 road games. Unfortunately , with a need to press the game , they fall into Ingolstadt's ability to score on the counter. 2nd verse same as the 1st today.

I post my thoughts on certain soccer matches that I wager on. I am no " Legend " , nor trying to be one. I just love the " Beautiful Game " and appreciate people here who are like minded.
