Horse has run twice at 6f. The first time was in it’s debut race, which was a stakes race. Strange spot to debut in so you can toss that effort. The second time was an explosive win two back. Horse came back last out and ran a dud, but that can be excused as it was its first time facing winners, and it was at 7f. I like playing closers turning back in sprint distances as they will most likely have a faster pa e to close into. Field scratched down to 5, so not sure where the price goes, but Ryerson tends to get ignored when training for other owners besides Generazio.

Goes first time off the claim for Ferraro, and it’s returning off short rest, a Ferraro staple. It’s dangerous betting on horses claimed from Dubb, but the horse’s turf record is excellent and might get ignored running for an under the radar outfit.

Klesaris is a super sharp mid Atlantic trainer that ships in and wins in NY regularly. In three starts so far this meet he has 1 W and 1 P. Hard to catch him outside the 5-1 to 10-1 range, so take what we can get.

Good luck to all in action today.
    Placed at 24/1. Good call.

Horse has really good dirt form, and a decent prep over the track about three weeks ago. I think the turf morning line combined with Ryerson’s no named owner is allowing the price to stay high(14-1 with 10mtp). Race is moved to dirt, horse has dirt efforts recently that can win this easily. I made a win bet and wheeled on top and underneath in exactas.

    Good luck.

    Saturday 6/1/19

    Race 5
    #4 Bellamy Knows 12-1
Nevin’s horse’s are overmatched at Saratoga, so she gears her barn towards this two month period at Belmont. The problem is her entrants are usually lined in the 3-1 and under range. When I see one above that range here I want to be on board. Bellamy’s usually have nice early speed so hoping for a wire attempt. Cancel sucks but hopefully he doesn’t fall off.

    Race 6
    #10 Indebted 5-1
Last race off the long layoff is a toss. Strictly a freshener. Has good starts prior to that which would be good enough to win this. Plus will likely drift up in odds.

    Race 8
    #8 Henley’s Joy 10-1
Maker going long on turf in NY with a non-Ramsey owned horse has to be plus ROI last 10 years. The non-Ramsey owner entrants get ignored for some reason. The longer the turf race the better when it comes to Ramsey. Half the field won’t get the distance. Just gotta hope Chad Brown didn’t use the good juice with the authorities eyes on his barn.

    Race 9
    #11 Canarsie Princess 20-1
Micelli is usually good for one or two bombs at Belmont, usually on turf and always in NY Bred races. Gotta deal with Luzzi but that should only enhance the price.

    Good luck, men!

When I saw you mention this horse the other day....It jogged my memory about the trainer...I knew someone who use to follow him and a couple of others at Saratoga......and would hit with the bombs on occasion.

Ubilio has fallen off the face of the earth the last few years but this one has a couple of good turf sprint efforts at Belmont. Will need some speed up front but should be a big price.

A slight step up in class, but horse will get the distance while others might not. Plus horse is having a great year with a win, two seconds, and a third in 5 starts. Should work out a nice stalking spot from the outside. Hope for a speed battle up front....

Horse won on dirt early in career, but before and after that the dirt starts were abysmal. Morrison puts her on turf for the first time so I’ll pay to see if she has any grass ability. Big price with about 5 mtp.

Made a win bet on #2 Bad Sueno 12-1. Guillot trains for speed and these NY jocks do nothing but take back at the break. Horses didn’t show speed in its only turf try but it wouldn’t surprise me if Guillot tells Camacho to gun it.

Biggest week of the meet at Belmont and they can’t field a card on Wednesday. NYRA is a joke. A horse owning friend of mine told me the racing office was texting owners because they couldn’t fill the Allowance races on Belmont Stakes Day. There is guaranteed to be some three legged creatures running those races as “favors” to the racing office. Won’t here a peep about it when one or more breakdown.

I'm just wondering why They were worried about filling an allowance race on Saturday when they have 13 scheduled..... Just make it a 10 race card.... Heck make Friday a 9 race card.....

Moving Twilight Racing from Friday to Thursday, another brilliant move by NYRA. They really hate their loyal fans. Specifically the locals.

One of the best days of racing IMO. The Met Mile may be race of the day. 8 grade 1 races and competitive fields for the most part. No complaints from me.

Ferraro off short rest. Horse seems to like the mile distance as it has a win and a third running the distance this year. Ferraro has already tried the horse in a couple NY Bred stakes races in its brief career. Returns to its preferred dirt and the allowance level. Should be able to work out a nice stalking trip from the rail. Can use a little speed duel up front.
    More later. Good luck....

Horse might be hopelessly out classed but we get a runner that has 4 wins on Belmont turf. Has won at 6f and 1 1/16 here on grass so the specialty distance of 7f might be right in its wheelhouse. Sharp mid Atlantic trainer, horse that likes the course, and we should get 30-1 easy.

Nice looking card today. Playing four. Not much to say about the first two races. Both horses trained by sharp under the radar guys that I’ll auto play at nice prices, especially on undercards of big days.

    Race 1
    Win #1 Swick 12-1
    Ex/Bx 1/2,3,7

    Race 2
    #2 Here Comes Meg 12-1

    Race 8
    #2 Stan the Man 10-1
    Ex/Bx 2-9
    .50c Tri 2,9/ALL/2,9
Interesting horse here. Has done very well in Allowance ranks but hasn’t broken through yet for a Stakes W. Has had most of its success at a mile distance but does have a W at 7f. Here’s the interesting part; at the longer distances it likes to run on the lead, at the shorter distances it seems to stalk and close. Versatile horse from a sharp trainer at a good price. Hope it tries to wire them today.

    Race 10
    Win #2 Noble Drought 20-1
    Ex/Bx 2/ALL
Maker at a marathon distance on turf is another auto play for me. Horse might be a little light in class but who knows who can handle this odd 2 mile distance. All I know is Maker has history at these long distances so I’m in.

    Good luck all.

The only time I like playing Chris Englehart is in dirt sprints, claiming or maiden claiming level. That’s where I feel his horses belong, and turf isn’t his strong suit. So this one returns to dirt after a so-so turf effort. She missed the break in its only dirt start do I want to give it another shot. Plus, it’s coming back off short rest(13 days) so should be sharper than its past two.
