If they can keep the team core somewhat intact, and add players where there is deletions, they're definitely good for a few more before the end of their prime.

I don't disagree. I saw some amazing analytical and next-gen stats today, where they were basically showing that Durant is not even good for an extra win with the Golden State warriors statistically.
I Know this money Ball stuff can be kind of convoluted, but you saw how they played when he was out on the road with Houston.
I'm sure he was good for a couple wins with his 50 point games, but overall I'm not sure he's is valuable to the team as people think he is

I know text doesn't translate well, but obviously this thread was sort of tongue and cheek about how weak the NBA is right now.
Don't get me wrong, golden state is a championship-caliber team through and through. I'm not a fan so I'm not biased all, I had my Sonics team ripped from me so I have no dog in the fight.
Really it's more about some of the players and not the franchises. The elite players that are unwilling to not be ball hogs, or play defense, or work with others who could give them actual fight for a ring.
You all know who they are, I don't need a name names.
Frankly if the Lakers can get a team around Bron, that's the only ones that really have a shot right now.
I know there's so much hate for him on here, and I don't really know why. If he plays his ass off he still has a few great years left, he laid off the gas pedal this year realizing that he needed to save it for the upcoming seasons.

Not Seth, but I agree they could probably live losing everybody else but those two as long as they get real players that are somewhat competent to there a similar levels.

Losing Durant actually might be a godsend, because they could get a deeper bench like they had before, and the Stars couldn't have less minutes and wear-and-tear throughout the regular season.

well durant is 65th in def. rating and curry is 66th separated by .04 curry tries and gives effort more than I can say about some players

Warriors maybe lose 1 more game this season and then KD and Klay leave and hopefully we get a competitive NBA again
When Curry gets or Durant gets hurt line moves 1.5 pts. When Draymond suspended it moved 2. Also Draymond never gets hurt so he is always around unlike the other guys.
If Durant leaves they can certainly afford Klay and then bring in some other help. Unless Klay wants a Max contract, he's a great player, but he certainly isn't worth that type of money.
