LBJ has three rings and 5 losses in the FINALS, and guys talk about how overrated he is. Yet they wanna ride Lillards nutz every year and he gets swept every year. Dude has never been to one finals

LBJ is 3-6 in the finals not 3-5. Let's give him his due lol

There was a time in the last 50 yrs when LBJ referred to our president's nickname lol

What I’m reading is, Russ hasn’t done shit since KD left except for be a stat-chasing ball hog who got bounced out of the first round 3 years and running now ...this latest exit at the hands of a “bum” who hasn’t led Portland anywhere - yet they’re in the WCF for the first time in 19 years. Ok...

OKC 2012 w KD harden along w russ significantly better than any team lillard has played on. Not even close. Russ rode w 2 HOFers to the finals andf dame is playing w CJ McCollum

What do Kevin Durant, James harden, Victor oladipo and Serge ibaka all have in common? Oh yeah that's right they ALL got better and enjoyed FAR MORE success as soon as they stopped playing alongside westbrick

Hasn’t done shit? He won an mvp and averaged three trip-doubs in a row. You are aware it takes stats to win games, correct? It takes scoring, rebounding and assists. Not many in the history of the nba have done it as well as RW.

Well, KD joined probably the greatest team ever in the nba. They had already won a chip, been to two finals in a row and went 73-9 reg season, so of course KD looks better.

Harden was never a starter in okc, and became franchise in Houston so of course he got better, he shined when given the chance but thats not on Russ. OKC never started Harden.

Yeah you're right krakk, numbers are important. Most important one right here.

    4-16

Westbrick's playoff record once Durant stopped carrying him.

    Here's another number

0 playoff series wins since he's been the headliner

You may not remember those playoff runs with Russ and KD in OKC. I’m gonna tell ya, I was at most of the games in OKC and Russ absolutey did not ride anyone anywhere. If it wasn’t for KD’s abysmal play in the GS series, especially the 4q of games 6&7, OKC would’ve walked into the finals to face the Cavs a 2nd year in a row. Russ willed that team as far as he could, that loss to GS when they were up 3-1 is on KD

Exactly...guy can get all the numbers he wants, but since KD left he hasn’t led OKC anywhere except to first round exits. You are bashing Dame for this reason but at least they beat OKC and are in WCF.

Lillard was fire during OKC series, good during Denver series, and pretty bad this GSW series. Fatigue and the separated ribs he got during gm 2 caught up to him It looks like. No excuse for Blazers to not close out the last 2 games though.

Just more excuses. Everyone on onc was injured.

but ya, congrats to the Trailblazers for finally shattering the glass ceiling making the wcf, even though theyMre about to get swept.

I knew the Lillard love was strong but Im surprised at this level of fanboidom

Well, the guy has played most minutes of anybody in the league this year and often has to shoulder the load for the whole team

Am I disappointed with his latest performances? Yeah
    Do I understand it?
    Yeah

Never said he was GOAT or Lebron level

    Fair enough.

I’ll re-iterate what I said earlier , I actually like Lillard. Im just tired of the way the media handles Portland with kids gloves, always talking about their potential, how they’re on the cusp of breaking through, how Lillard/Mccollum are the best backcourt in bball, etc... They’re not young anymore, not the new kids on the block. Time to just call a spade a spade, this version of Portland isn’t anywhere near good enough to compete at the highest level.

Lillard's been playing with "separated ribs" since Game 2. Whatever that is, it definitely sounds painful!

Russ bricked the 3 most important shots of that game 7. Literally the worst shots ever. Guy is a meltdown waiting to happen at the end of close games.

Did Lillard tell ESPN that he has a broken rib? This fukking guy

Cut the bs pal. You suck!

Trust me... I had rib issues before... anything involving cartilage around the chest cavity... your ass wouldn't be even running up and down the floor... let alone... jumping.

Damian Lillard, Blazers are expected to agree to a four-year, $191M supermax extension this offseason, per Chris B. Haynes.

    nba is crazy
westbrook cant guard curry or lillard
curry cant guard westbrook or any fast pg
    kyrie can iso any guard
cp3 can sometimes guard curry but gets killed by westbrook
patrick beverley can guard curry cant guard westbrook and is inconsistent on offense

just to name a few... its impossible to be a 2 way guard in the nba

First ... 2345
