    Baseball lost a legend 10 years ago today

    Am glad he got to see and 2nd, and finally get to call his 1st and final out of the 08 championship a year before he passed. He is still missed.

    Yessir I got some great stories about him

    used to play pine valley with g pop

    dude had to make several trips to LQ for a six pack

    one a ride down to the shore

    My favovorite memory was 1987, i was in 6th grade, phils were playing a day game in Pittsburgh and Schmidt was sitting on 499, 1st time he came up after I got home from school he hit #500, 32 years ago and feels like yesterday.
