Poker STEP 5 to the $5Million GTD on BCP Poker... what would you do?

Play it and hope to qualify or cash a juicy semi-bubble for $$$ or sell it to my backer for $500? Its worth $630 and I think I can qualify again easily, it wasnt that hard, 2nd time I do it. The Venom is in July, so, waiting months for a chance to win life changing Moolah or secure some dough on my current cutting corners situation?

take the money, $500 is a good offer for it. If it was $300 or $400 heck no, but $500 yeah. See if he can throw you another $25 to make it $525 total to try and run it up again.

Consider it bankroll management if you can sell for at least 80% value. If you don't have at least 10 buyins at that stake, you should sell because:

    1) That is a significant amount of money to you
    2) Due to #1, you might play scared or a bit more conservative with more money than usual on the line (not always the case but it does affect a lot of players including myself (satty into a $4k and realized after I was playing too tight when my usual tournament entry is $200-$500).

Take the 500, but I don't think they are transferable

Hmm, actually the $215 satellite I won today its 40x times my AVG buy-in and it was easy to lock it in, competition was soft and I judge the opponents I'm expecting tomorrow, I think I have a solid chance of making it, either bank the $2500 satellite OR bank a semi-bubble of $1500 plus, it be hard to comform with anything less being so close.

Ticket not transferable, backer has an agreement with BCP and offered to buy a % of the tourney instead... refuses to play from my account which is respectable. Might try and qualify and sell 50%, seems like the smartest +EV move.

Playing to win tomorrow, end of story.

So if I follow correctly, he recently posted how he won $600 that derived from a freeroll, which really saved him by giving him the ability to pay rent, bills, etc?

And now this so $500 should do the same thing again?

So yeah if that's the case, nice hit and take the money.

    Thank you Rudy.

It's just a very small part time thing, they're testing me for bigger things more than anything else.

    Best of luck today man.

What a stupid thread. You can't sell the ticket. You can sell your ticket to the venom if you win two entries. So looks like you are playing it.
