The ISU game when the refs ruled the shot was in time, even though it wasn't, and didn't review it.

Pittsburgh-Arizona Super Bowl when James Harrison ran back a fumble at the end of the first half for a Td when AZ was getting ready to score.

Redskins/ chiefs MNF like two years ago.. lost spread and total with the pitchy pitchy woo woo..

Knicks/Grizzlies +12.5 still haunts me from 2017 I believe it was. Both awful

That Iowa St game from earlier this year also hurt. Home town score keeper fuxked up big time

Frank Viola around 1987 he was lights out for the Twins. They either had a 7-0 or 9-0 lead in the 7th innning and they ended up losing.

    Excelelnt thread Cougs

April 27, 2016 - Kerri Walsh and April Ross lose to the Brazilians. This was a cushion bet of actual real money, something like $800 to win $220.

    Kerri Walsh doesn't lose, right?

    I'll never forget it.

Early 2000s. I think 01 or 02. The A’s on one of their patented 20+ game win streaks. Believe it was the third of a 3 setter V the Twins. I bet the Twins on the +1.5 RL for either 500 or 800. Can’t remember but regardless it was like 10K in today’s money. Huge bet for me back then.

A’s are down 1 top 9 two outs. Game in Oakland. 3rd out game is over. I win. Corey Koskie hits a bomb to center to tie the game. Bottom 9 two on and Tejada hits a walk off three run homer. Brutal.

Ask patty V about fading the Nats in a 3 game series chase at skybet where his team was up late each game and the bullpen blew it late every time.

Some random VCU game a couple years ago. Had the under, it was sitting under by a point, like a 12 point game with the shot clock off. Everybody was letting the game end except one toolbag playing hard D on the dude with the ball. Dude gets a steal, lays it in and they let the last 10-15 sec run off. I swear that was rigged for the over.

Not a bad beat, but I remember this game. Woke up about 10 minutes after game started, needed action. Called my local before turning on the TV, and asked if I could get action. He hesitated, so I knew something was up. Told him I had no info (tv off), and he let me get 1u on Minn. Turned it on and saw I was down 14 already. I still give him crap about letting me take a team down 14 lol.

What about that Titans/Colts game? I have a terrible memory but remember that Paco was on it. It was big on the forum at the time. I was on it but struggle to remember what happened. Titans scored as time expired, I believe.

Two stand out from 30-35 years ago . . .

College hoops, I have a team +11.5 points (it was an MVC game but I don't remember the exact teams; I think Evansville was involved) winning virtually the whole game. The game goes into overtime and my side gets outscored, 12-0.

I bet against the Chargers or the Raiders . . . don't remember which one . . . giving 7. They're down 10 or 11 in the final seconds with the ball at something like their own 5-yard line. They throw a pass up to midfield and the receiver makes the catch and goes out of bounds with 1 second left. Then they throw it into the end zone and there's defensive pass interference. Put the ball at the 1; extra play; meaningless touchdown.

8th leg of parlay that paid 150-1 when chargers blew a big first half lead to broncos in 2012. had chargers -1.5 and i think they were up 24-0. I didn't even hedge. i have had some other bad beats but this is the most memorable because it was the final game of the parlay....game started after all the other games have finished and there was opportunity to hedge after first half. only solace is that i didn't watch the game adn didn't know the ticket made it to that game because i was on a road trip after i played that ticket and didn't check the scores until tuesday. It was a $500 bet to win $75000.

This also made me realize how much better it is for your health if you don't watch the games after you book the tickets. I had a blast on my road trip and there was no internet access...didn't even think about the game or the ticket.

I was at a black jack table once in Vegas and was showing 20 and the dealer then hit an ace on the flip with a 10 card showing and hit 21.

Bad night at the office I'll never forget.. ..

Needed Edmund to close out a 12TP ($187/$22k)..up a set & 4-1 & missed a routine volley for 5-1. Only silver lining is that his career looks pretty much done with his latest knee injury.

The worst part is his match was scheduled early before most of the other 11 Rome picks came in that day so there was never a hedging opportunity. Wish I saved the ticket but it was from 5D so it was deleted along all with the others. Remember laying $500/$187 on Serena to beat Peterson, then that $187 parlay figuring it was a freeroll. Serena won easily then gave Venus a WO. in the next rd.
