Big names do well at the The Players-- since '12, winners are Kuchar-Woods-Kaymer-Fowler-Day.

Simpson is ranked 20th in the world, and was on the US Ryder Cup team last year-- he isn't exactly an "underdog", he was also on the 2014 US Ryder Cup team. Simpson finished in the Top 20 of all 4 majors last year.

    Card:

    Adam Scott 35-1
    Ian Poulter 55-1
    Lucas Glover 66-1
    Luke List 110-1

Going to parlay Molinari up with a hockey game or something later in week. Like him.. but not at 22-1.

He will still go off over 20/1 odds though

Field is stacked, especially in this tournament

Thanks for the history lesson of Webb Simpson though. Much appreciated

    WTF?

There are 8 golfers going off at less than 20-1.

Spieth is going off at 25-1, Day at 22-1, Garcia 25-1, Adam Scott 33-1, Molinari 33-1-----

    Are they all "underdogs" too?

Kinda wild that they’re playing this tournament in March, when it’s normally reserved at the end of the season. First time in 13 years it’s been moved back to March.

Weather is sure to play a factor at Ponte Vedra too. Winner could actually be a long shot that comes outta nowhere. Love the Sawgrass course though, stay’in away from favorites and go’in for players at higher odds.

    Brooks Koepka 22-1
    Francesco Molinari 22-1
    Rickie Fowler 22-1
    Tiger Woods 25-1
    Xander Schauffele 25-1
    Tommy Fleetwood 28-1
    Best of luck guys

    Right you are, sir.
For the first 30 years of the TPC being played at Ponte Verde it was held in March, usually 2-3 weeks before the Masters.

In 2007, it was moved to May. The reason was the PGA wanted to have a big event in every month from April-September....Masters in April, Players in May, US Open in June, British in July, PGA in August, and the Tour Championship in September.

In 2017, the PGA decided to move the PGA Championship to May--- which then moved The Players back to March.

    Think Rory wins

    Took him 14/1 EW (top 5 @ 1/4) & -105 vs DJ

ALSO took Xander 22/1 EW & -105 vs tiger
