    Wv’s Plays

    I like a few of the games today and we’re finally getting to a point where you can feel comfortable betting these teams.

    Cleveland -152
    Not usually a fan of laying juice this high in MLB but I think we’re quickly running out of time to get this kind of price for Trevor Bauer. He’s becoming the real deal and while the Tigers have been solid so far, I don’t think anyone expects that lineup to look good against elite pitching. I think Bauer is there.

    Rays/White Sox over 8.5
    Day game, a historically wild Tyler Glasnow (I know he’s getting it sorted out), a surprisingly good/young Rays lineup, Reynaldo fuckin Lopez, and a White Sox team that can score runs and doesn’t bring their gloves to the field (bottom 5 in errors and fielding percentage) = runs? Maybe?

    Pirates/Cubs over 7
    This is a trap and I am caught in it. Jordan Lyles and current day Yu Darvish should never have a total set at 7. Throw in the Cubs lineup at home, and the fact that the Pirates HAVE to at least contribute a run right? Yu Darvish will probably walk 3-4 batters himself if he gets past the 4th inning. It’ll be cold and windy but I’ll take the over.

    It’s crazy how long the shut down has been for the WV app. Have to imagine the casinos are pissed right now, missed March madness now playoffs incoming.

    It’s worse than you even think. DraftKings, FanDuel, William Hill are all going thru regulatory hoops to get the ok to open shop. The change in the wire act interpretation has them completely on hold while shit plays out in court. Betlucky and those two casinos were able to get in under the gun and were the only ones with early approval. With Delaware North now bailing on Miomni and Betlucky...they probably have to get back in line with the others. We may be waiting a bit.

    Saves me a 50 min drive each way to WV haha. Sucks though for people like yourself who live in state.

    Apparently Washington DC, 30 mins away will have sportsbetting in bars next to the sports stadiums by fall. Looking forward to that.

    Yea it blows. I can walk to the casino on my lunch break and STILL can’t place a bet. I understand shit happens, but the fact that the casinos can’t break out the calculator, pen and pad to take a bet is insane to me. Print me a ticket. Take a bet the same way guys with middle school educations have been doing in the back room of bars since the beginning of competition. Morons.
