Ever heard of someone blitzing you on offense? That's what KC will do to New England.

Only way NE has a chance... matching KC TD for TD.

Going to be interesting to see what happens in COLD WEATHER. I'm curious to see how high the score could actually go.

You don't see that many shootouts in the cold. What's the highest scoring game for a 11 degree temp?

    Scheduled forecast:

    High of 11 Degrees. UNREAL.

I didn't realize it was going to be that cold. No wonder the O/U dropped from 58 to 55.

    Of all times?

Tougher than the teams that already beat him?

i can't see n.e. winning if kc plays as well as they did last game. Tom is a timing qb so just get in the face of receivers. Shouldn't have to worry about the long pass.

Certainly seems to be bad for your health when you bet against Tommy and the Pats in the playoffs.. I can't argue this logic..

KC and young Mahones could be in trouble. Tom gonna shred and pick apart that suspect KC defense.

Like Brady, Bellicek and Gronk to ffigure this out, especially now that they have a decent running game. The weather does not favor Kc in this game

Billy and his system of play for sure works.. Fixed correctly I agree..

Reminds me of Pop in the NBA.. Coaches with systems that work with about any player you bring, just plug em in and they perform it seems like in each well run system of play..

Billy is the best coach in football today I believe, Pop is also the best coach in the NBA still today.. Is what it is as both coaches always produce winning teams and seasons.

    That's just the high.

    I'm seeing 8 or 9 degrees.

Cold weather does not have an impact on scoring like many believe.

Cold weather will most definitely have an impact on turnovers, increasing them.

The market tends to exaggerate the line drop for Totals in cold games, it goes to far. But it doesn't go to far for every game. Each game must be capped.

Going back nearly 15 years, for games from 0-10 degrees I gave the Total bets at 11-11, 50%. Expanding that number to games with 0-20 degrees, I get the Totals bets at 47-47...the same 50%.

When it comes to the playoffs alone, it's the same exact 50% for both categories.

You have to pick the spot for sure.

Now, for scoring, here's a breakdown showing scoring, overall, isn't affected by temperature.

If anything, it goes down in the hotter games...

There are older studies that disagree, but those do tend to not include recent years.

Tom has obviously aged better than Farve did but I’ll never forget that 2007 conference title game in GB. Temp -1, wind chill -23. I needed GB money line vs NYG to close out a 3k parlay in Vegas. Couldn’t believe how cold and uncomfortable Farve looked. Had previously been the master in games like that. It was like he aged 10-15 years during that game.

Talk of a potential artic blast in KC sat eve/Sunday. I’d love to see those conditions again. I think advantage would go to the much younger QB.

objectively, yes. Have to account for the fact that its a conference championship and Andy Reid is a Fuktard in tight spots where as his counterpart here sort of lives for them.

Who hates frigid, cold temperatures more: old people or black people?

When you uncover this riddle you'll be able to figure out the winner of the AFC Championship Game.

The crowd will be a factor. If the refs favor Brady then Andy Reid will unleash the snowballs.

Brady is 1 and 3 at Arrowhead and the Chiefs have had their number more than any other team in the NFL since Brady has been there .

In on the Patriots.. Extremely hard to bet against them confidently in the playoffs. I wouldn't dare fade the Pats in this spot.

If the same O-line shows up for the Pats as last week, this one will be over at halftime.

Another example, look at Peyton Manning in Denver's loss to Baltimore a few years back. His body language was horrible, coming out for the OT flip in an overcoat. He was done. Brady is obviously tougher, but NE's defense is not any good. They had 2 good games last year against bad offenses (Jax and Tenn.), then got shredded in the Super Bowl. The DC already has his foot out the door for Miami.

My opinion is that the Chiefs will win, because 1) Brady is 41 and hasnt been that great this year 2) Gronk hasnt been good this year either 3) Edelman hasnt been that great this year 4) Chiefs are at home 5) chiefs have better playmakers 6) chiefs have good pass rushers 7) Mahomes 8) Mahomes 9) Mahomes 10) Mahomes
