    Is Anthony Davis the next Kevin Love??

    A slow footed big white guy that puts up monster stats on a losing team.

    Anthony Davis is starting to remind me of Minnesota's Kevin Love.

    He should be winning more games.

    He plays in New Orleans. It's a soul sucking place to live let alone ball. You put Davis on the Knicks, Lakers, Warriors, Heat and he turns in Kareem Abdul Jabar. Wasting his talents in a city that doesn't even deserve a basketball team. NBA all about being in the spot light except Anthony can't even shine in a dim light.

    He's already got Kareem-like stats.

    It's not the stats I'm worried about.

    He should be winning more games at this point in his career. His roster isn't that bad.

    Giant DeMarcus cousins was good, I see your point and it's very valid. The eyeball test shows that Davis and cousins had an elite skillset and athleticism something that love and towns do not possess. Embiid has the same type of elite athleticism and skills.

    You're probably right in the grand scheme in terms of wins and bottom lines. It is a very valid point that the game has long since moved over to favor guards that possess the ball for a majority of the game

    Holiday, Randle, and Mirotic are pretty good Davis is an overrated defender and even though he scores a lot not a great 1 on one player though a little better this year.

    Love probably a HOFer too though it is easy to make the basketball hall of fame. People are saying Bosh a lock for the hall even though he barely played past 30 they had similar careers.

    Neither of them were winning though.

    Even if you track them back to college, they are similar.

    Both had a great season. One won the title, and the other made it to the final four.

    The similarities are uncanny.

    Um Davis missed the playoffs 3 straight years and only snuck in by like 1 game last year. They are 14th in the west right now if Mirotic does not come back soon Pelicans will miss the playoffs again. Love played with all trash white guys Barea, Ridnour, Budinger, Rubio, Pekovic etc.

    Teams can’t defend Davis - love can be defended - any reason why Cavs bench love in the finals a few times? Would Davis ever get bench?

    I'm talking about Minnesota's Kevin Love, not the guy that went to Cleveland. He was a totally different player.

    You can build a team around Anthony Davis and win if built properly with the right coach - nobody was beating the warriors the last 4-5 years- I never hear anyone saying they can build a team around love

    Big difference giant. Love used to get his numbers in garbage time and lose games by 20 or more when he was on Minny

    They were horrible, he's still the worst defensive big of all time behind guys like Blake Griffin, lamarcua Aldridge and enes kanter

    I remember specifically his career season. He played 60 games and won less than thirty games. He used to pad his stats in the fourth when they were down by 30 against practice squad players

    Davis never did any of those things
