    Largest balance? Safe?

What’s the largest balance you guys have had in any one book? Is putting/leaving large amounts offshore safe as long as it’s one of the A+ books?

depends on how long you have played there. if you first deposit $100 and run it to $5000 you better be at a good book

As long as its a highly rated book, or one of the bigger ones you have nothing to worry about, i had alittle over 16k at betonline once for awhile, took out 10k over time and lost the rest like a fool, but had no issues getting paid or anything

Put $500 in on Wednesday here. Cocal Casino uses Bookmaker. Basically up $5500 in 4 days if Raiders win.

BetUS ive never had a problem with over 6 years but then they slow paid a second time w some verification BS and I inadvertently gambled mybwinnings away on Andy Murray in the Sussie open a few years ago drunk at 4 am.

Ive had 5 figure balances in BetUS many times never an issue till 2016....

There is always a risk, but it's not significant with reputable books. You need to remember that many of these "A+" books are willing to limit your bets if you pose a threat. And I don't mean abusing, but if you simply beat them and they think you will continue to beat them they will massively cut your limits. So there is no point in having a very large bankroll in even most of these A+ books depending on what sports you bet on.

Also I can't respond to your PM, because I don't have enough posts.

The answer is it’s relative. 2k could be a lot to someone but not much to others.

I use to have some big balances, for me, when playing poker. I didn’t like it, but needed it to play 50 and 100nl

I cashed out on tilt a few weeks before Black Friday. Dodged a bullet there.

If your overall bankroll on sports is 100K - I would go along with a 10k limit. It can happen! There is a correlation in books you can beat and having risk on the balance.

But, it has been awhile as I have almost forgotten:

    ESB
    WSEX
    Aces Gold
    BOS

What is the last one that went teats up? Was it Bet Islands? I missed that one?

With Bitcoin and exchange to USD at exchanges - there is no good reason to have more than what you need for a week at a book. Just do not feel sorry for someone who runs his account to 50 k and then cannot collect it.

Basically these top top books like Pinnacle, Heritage, Bookmaker etc... do their licenses mean anything? They are required to have all player funds available at any moment but are they actually audited? I’m trying to see if a full tilt scenario could happen? Not saying it will but what protection do the players have if the book goes belly up in god knows what country they are registered in. I would say none.

18.5k on 5dimes. Cashed out 5k twice and 3k once. 5dimes is a very good book.

You are right. BOS had a license in Antigua which was worthless when they went belly up. There has never been a time when a sportsbook went broke and the licensing country did anything to help the players. The license is basically a hunting license the country sells them so they can go hunting and fishing for players in the sportsbook industry.

Pinnacle rules state that the maximum payout for a parlay is $250,000 so I'm willing to bet they have significant funds on hand.

Had six figures on 5Dimes and never had any funny business or problems. Was able to repeatedly pull out 10K of bitcoin within 24 hours with no problems, of course I decided to give about half of it back, but still.
