    Lets hope so.

Sydney odds were jumping all over the place just before they closed, from -115 to +105

Team lineup looks first quality to me. Not sure what the public is thinking but let's hope they are wrong.

Looked a little lethargic like early season last week and Newcastle coming right a bit I guess?

Slightly off topic but I love watching these games in Wollongong(sp?) that stadium is really nice for the A League. Dragons games there always look fun also, like a modern version of Brookvale in Manly. First time driving past it last month when I was over and it's a bit of a drive for the city fans so not sure what they think of it, must be a nightmare to get to on a Friday night.

I agree. This ground, Kogarah Oval, is so nice and old school. Half of it is surrounded by grassy hills instead of stands.

But it's in Sydney. It's the old home ground of the St George rugby league team years ago, before they moved to Wollongong.

That ground in Wollongong, with the ocean behind it, is another favourite of mine too.

The ground is not great for people not in the South West suburbs of Sydney to get to. But it's not a nightmare for players I dont think. Quite close to the airport for visiting fans/teams too.

Cheers, that makes sense as I never saw that front row of actual seats at Dragons games!

I'm a small town cat and we were heading down the coast so for me it was endless! But yeah seasoned pros no biggy, just assumed for inner city Sydney fans it must be tricky. Wouldn't want to try make the Friday night games!

Anyway Sydney with the deseverded lead at the break, could/should of been 2.

I wish they would up the tempo a bit and get that 2nd one soon.

    Newcastle looking very keen now.

Adelaide and Perth are my two best bets of the week.

Both Perth and City have a bunch of changes in starting lineups, but City have shuffled players after they lost and Perth has 3 quality players returning to the team/bench.

So I like my bet at +190 even more now.

    Agree.

2nd game was awful. Perth had a couple of slam dunk open goal chances and blew them but was so unrisky and boring. City was just boring.

    Disappointing.

Want Victory and Overs in both Sunday matches here.

Me? Mt Maunganui over the ditch. Get over to you side of the pond a bit though.

That game looked pretty dour, glad I only caught the last 20mins getting back home. Not many A League games like that. Funny stat I saw posted the other day that Richie de Laet has scored 9 goals in around 200 games but is the striker for Melbourne City! In saying that of those nine four of them are for M City.

    Oh a Kiwi.

City had a falling out with their marque striker Fornaroli last year and the club supported coach in just benching him.

That and injuries has pretty much left them with no real attackers/finishers.

De Laet a defender who player striker as a junior.

Put his hand up to help out and did pretty well and scored.

Berenguer came back from about 8 weeks off injured last game and will help with attack moving forward.

De Laet ended up back in the D line pretty early tonight. Maybe even from kick off I think.

All I have on the Victory game is my early ML bet plus a parlay for both today's games to go over 2.5

Went to bet Toivenon to score again but missed close of betting. He scores about 3 mins later

Have Brissy PK later game. Plus over 2.5 to close out my 5 match parlay.

Ha. After games today my mind went straight back to A-League. Getting addicted

And 3u is cool. Still almost 30u up for the 6 weeks so far. And was soooooo close to another good week. If Perth got the job done like they should have, or there was 1 more goal in Mariners/Roar game, I would have been golden again.

Reading news I think I am liking City with Vidosic and Malik back at home @ -125

think I'll hit that with a couple of units tonight... I think.

Melb City have striker Vidosic back from injury as well as key midfielder Malik. That should also free up Berenguer to slide back to an attacking mid fielder role instead of forward as well.

It will be like a different City this match to last game when they didn't get 1 shot on goal.

I'm pretty darn confident actually. Already have 2u on it and thinking of adding more once I see it confirmed that those two will be in starting 11 as expected.

Hi, guys - How can we get SBR Sportsbook to offer A League matches?

What books do you like for soccer? I am looking for a book that offers smaller league betting. Thanks.

I'm not sure what offshore might be best for A-League. 5Dimes is ok for odds but very limited options. I am using Aussie bookmakers. Neds.com.au mostly.

Well that's very kind of you

There is one small area where by far the most dangerous venomous spider in the world lives. Maybe 500 square miles total. And I am dead center of that area. And honestly, it's just not a problem. You learn to not walk around with no shoes on and even of you do get bitten, guess how much specialist medical help there is around here. I'd be surprised if even 1 person a year dies from spider bites.

Both you guys should message SBR Drew and ask for A-League in the SBR Book. I already have ;-)

Well I got suckered in by Coasch Joyce this week. Neither Vidosic or Malik even picked on the bench.

Lucky that out favorite defender come fill-in striker, De Laet, slotted one in already at least.

    Hope they sneak another soon.
