Truth is NASCAR was on top of the world several years ago and exploding in popularity.
Rodeo won't overtake it of course as he was joking sarcastically, but the point being the sport has indeed 'crashed'.

NASCAR has plenty of fans to keep it going. Can't always be at peak numbers.
With them doing deals to supply data specifically for betting from next year I'd guess as bettors we will be hearing more about NASCAR, not less.
Formula 1 also doing betting data deals this year as well.
