I know it's the start of the Bowl season, and we also have some NFL action, but don't overlook these games......
LAKERS -1.5 over Charlotte. The Hornets are playing for the 3rd time in 4 nights and had to go to OT last night in a disappointing loss to the Knicks. Meanwhile the rested Lakers have been playing great and Lebron's pride dictates that he brings his 'A' game anytime he laces 'em up in front of Michael Jordan.
BOSTON -2.5 over Detroit. The Celts are the hottest team in the league right now. I'm gonna ride this streak out. Sure they played last night but it was a cake walk over Atlanta and Boston's key guys barely saw any action.
Orlando/Utah UNDER 206. Gonna stick with the same logic that cashed for me the other night. This game is in Mexico City, altitude 7500 feet. There's a reason why Bob Beamon's 1968 long jump record still has never been beaten in the Olympics--Because the air is so damn thin up there! This will not be a fast paced game. Sure, Orlando's been there now for 4 days or so. Maybe they're adjusting.....but it's even more likely that maybe they have Montezuma's revenge by now. Neither team scores 100.
As always, best of luck
Harry
