    It would probably serve them better to pay the Notre Dame players to lose rather than waste money the other way.

    hindsight comment, but auburn seems so obvious for this type of bet. they basically have the talent to hang with alabama. alot of big moneyline underdogs don't.......... don't get me wrong, alabama could have beaten auburn by 40, that too was very possible.
