Just a one year wonder/ 1st round exit

Realistically should be 10-1.. Had Gb beat Mack first game back and Smith out of shape.. Blew Dolphins game.. Hell came up 1 yard short against Pats.. Hindsight 20/20 I guess

They are in deed the 2017 Vikes but also that team won a playoff game.

Bears going nowhere in post season. D needs to create 2 turnovers per game for them to squeak out wins.

Maybe more like 2017 Titans or Bills

2019 they are 4-12 and Turnisky on the hot seat. Kid had to run for his life last week and still cany find the 2nd or 3rd option on any route.

    Agreed.

If your team does not have an elite offense then your team is not elite. That’s just the facts in today’s NFL, I don’t particularly like it.

Times have drastically changed in the NFL practically overnight, from
what was once the formula to winning championships, which was a great to Elite defense
with and average to mediocre offense would all but put Vince Lombardi in
your team front office trophy case........
*But* now, a *great defense* means absolutely diddly squat, el zilcho without a *high* powered offense.............

But the truth of this matter is, Elite defenses no longer exists for the fact
the NFL has made it impossible to exist.........

And it is only going to get worse for the fact great defensive talent will phase out
with this simple factor of "I'm not gonna dream of being a great defensive player as a young boy because there are NONE".........!

*So* now, a *mediocre defense* means absolutely diddly squat, el zilcho without the *highest* powered offense.............

Meh, maybe. Defense still has a history of winning in the postseason.

Bears offense isn’t good enough - trubisky is not the answer- you can not have a running QB in the NFL - this isn’t college football - guys will knock you out !!

I could be wrong but that team was statistically the worst playoff team offensive ever?? I think they only had 22 offensive TDs all year and still snuck into the playoffs... Jones 1400 yards rushing lol.

Another typical NFC north division winner. 05 was 4 win Pack, 4 win Det and injured Culpepper in MN (I later that year spilled my margarita on him at Jimmy Buffets in Ochos Rios, wrecked his sport coat lol)

Bears on shortest turnaround in NFL history and won on the road with a backup QB.

At Giants next week then host Rams. Rams won't hang 50 I can promise you that.

Ray Lewis was a one man wrecking crew in that SB........

Probably the greatest one man influence of an outcome in all of SB history.........

Put this way, if Lewis wasn't on the field the entire game, the Ravens would not have won,not even close to winning for that matter...

The 2000 Ravens put up an impenetrable wall. It was impossible to win with power against that defense. Rob Burnett and Michael McCrary played outside contain brilliantly. Tony Siragusa and Sam Adams clogged up the interior rushing lanes. A youthful Ray Lewis roamed from sideline to sideline. The 2000 Ravens allowed the fewest rushing yards in a season.

To beat the Ravens teams had to throw the football. The Ravens were pretty good at shutting down the passing game as well. Peter Boulware, McCrary and Burnett were great pass rushers. Chris McAlister and Duane Starks were a pair of shut down cornerbacks. Rod Woodson was a legendary free safety. Kim Herring was not too shabby either at the strong safety position.

The 2000 Ravens allowed just 165 points to be scored against them, which is a record for a 16 game NFL season. There were games where the opponent found just crossing the fifty yard line almost impossible, let alone getting in the end zone. They were dominant.

In 4 post-season games the Ravens only allowed opponents to score 23 points. Seven of those points were a kickoff return for a touchdown in the Super Bowl. 9 of those points were from field goals. Only one offensive touchdown was scored against the Ravens in that playoff run.

I'm old. I got a bad memory. Yeah, that's what I meant. Shitty offense behind Rex Grossman made the SB because the defense made plays. This defense reminds me of that team. Eddie Jackson is the new Mike Brown.
