Helton and Love should be replaced. Richt has a good team for 19/20. Taggart might not be right guy but fisher left him a bad program.

    Mike Norvell from Memphis

Who calls a delayed draw play 7 yards deep on your own 2 yard line, which of course resuled in a safety.

Yea, it's definitely Jimbo's fault they have 1000 penalties a game including idiotic personal fouls due to being totally undisciplined

It's definitely Jimbo's fault they mismanage the clock and their TO's every game

It's definitely Jimbo's fault they have the worst game plan every game and are incapable of making even the most basic adjustments during the game

It's definitely Jimbo's fault the playcalling on both sides of the ball is hideous

It definitely Jimbo's fault the players quit on their coach in multiple games this year

    Another great post by Gritter

Illinois' 63-0 loss to Iowa is tied for its worst shutout loss in program history and largest shutout loss since another 63-0 defeat to the University of Chicago in 1906.

almost none of the coaches mentioned here will get fired before next season..

lovie smith has done a pretty good job at illinois.. it's ridiculous to bring up one score as proof of anything (yes, it was a terrible score)

i looked through power 5 coaches and the only really obvious candidates for firing are helton at USC and ash at rutgers..... even with those 2, i think it'll come down somewhat to philosophy. constantly changing coaches doesn't seem to work with these programs either.

maybe teams need to change the model somewhat. hire younger, cheaper coaches with the understanding they get 1 to 2 years to achieve reasonable success.. not this high priced, long term K's. they get fired after 3-4 years, then it takes a few years to get going with next coach.
