Which sport would you say is the most "beatable"?

When I visited Austin, TX last month, I sat down for drinks at a local bar and met a couple of guys visiting from the UK. One of them worked, salaried and all, at a company that took advantage of sportsbook lines for a profit using Matchbook and other sites. He said his company was a market maker as well as booked bets that were +EV by their statistics. It shocked me that there was a COMPANY out there that profited on +EV lines. Figured only books and a few sharp individuals profited. He told me his company recently started a small book themselves after getting licensed.

Anyways, he told me his job was specifically focused on GOLF. He told me golf was by far the most profitable sport to cap in his view and that he had won his company over 500k USD last year.

Which sport do you find has the softest lines?

Baseball is traditionally knows as most beatable

Others will disagree as they have success in other sports

Of the big 4 pro sports leagues I'd pick baseball because it has the lowest juice.

IME small market sports are much easier to beat than big market sports.

Agreed, and anytime a sport is super top heavy (like nba playoff time-or men’s tennis)

But baseball is a 50/50 sport where the best teams win 60% of their games , but lay big odds on a daily basis

Every sport beatable if you are just patient and pick your spot, but most are gambling addicts and need the action.

Soccer is the most beatable. If you can't make money betting soccer there is something wrong with you.

I find baseball and soccer most beatable, but I think it’s just a personal thing. Baseball you have to be patient, play the markets, expect long losing streaks, while soccer I find most predictable in terms of probable outcome. Other teams sports, like nba, nfl I think biggest edges to players lie in team totals and player props.

EPL if you follow it close. There’s a rhythm to the results. Very transparent the form teams are currently in. Also a great sport to live bet

Personally, I've always had the most success in college football and CFB, CBB, NFL post season. That's been the easiest for me, I guess.

I play fantasy baseball pretty seriously. I'm in rotoworld & nfbc leagues. So I know rosters of nearly every MLB team, trends, splits, some BvP or where to find it, etc etc. There was a time where I was playing DFS and betting baseball, and winning, but it's a grind. There's so many games every day and When I got home, I'd have to watch lineups, weather, whether or not a dome was open etc etc. As Laker said, there are just other things I want to do.
