    Sports Betting September numbers are in for New Jersey---Pretty damn good

    184 Million was bet on sports in September.

    Up almost 200% from August.

    The September bump drove up Atlantic City Casinos revenue to more than 272 million, which is 16% higher than last year.

    Some notes-- 36 million of the total wagered was on parlays.

    Since June, Jersey has had 336 million wagered on sports--210 million was done online/apps.

    Are we still going to pretend that this is not having any consequence to the offshores?

    Imagine what that would be if legalized betting opened up in Illinois (Chicago), New York, California and Florida? Sports betting is the #1 reason why all these weekday games get any ratings and t.v revenue at all.

    It's almost scary to see the type of revenue these books generate.

    Exactly-- the people watching USF-Tulsa tonight will be gamblers--- not a casual college football fan in Ohio, or California.

    I predicted this when someone said only $10 million was bet in July. September is football time. Offshore will be dead soon if this growth is sustained. People like the idea of betting with cash and getting paid 2 minutes after final whistle.

    Though March madness trips to Vegas are always epic going to be hard to take the 4 hour plane ride when Ocean Resort 10 minutes away.

    Weather is is amazing in Vegas in March though

    Weather is not bad in the fall in Atlantic City. I'd rather have 50's-60's than the 100's-110's of Vegas.

    Vegas will be hurt very little. They stopped caring about the gambler long ago and cater to the party experience of "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" crowd now.

    Their sports betting business will go down the drain because 40 states are going to have it and the big events will be empty, don’t forget ghetto trash has taken over, It’s catered now for ghetto people go on this strip And looks like downtown Compton
