If Cubs Were Smart Move Bryant

Same as Harper ZERO value to their teams and roundhouse swings that breakdown too much and basically auto outs. The new MLB formula for success is not guys like these two, overpaid to the extreme just like Stanton of Yanks.

I feel bad for Cubs moving forward

I know but they will give him a ton

Nobody hitting wise worth massive money anymore, Trout is unreal but does not equate to the team winning

Agree, he really isn't that good when it comes down to it.

Probably 40+ hitters id take over him

There is a big difference between trading him and giving him massive money. Cubs still control him for the next 3 seasons. 3 seasons is a lot.

Well then I guess you got to keep him

Maybe has a bounce back year but this guy seems just to be an average player

He was hurt this year. He's gotta get that shoulder right. Certainly cannot trade him right now after a rough injury season. He certainly wasn't average before this season, that's absurd. The numbers don't lie. He had 6+ WAR in each of his first 3 seasons. How can that be an accident of an average player.

Shoulder is huge concern though, I can say that firsthand. Hurt my shoulder almost 2 years ago and it's still hurt.

Guys like trowel and Bryant of course good for the league but don’t strike me as killers Also known as super competitive guys hate to lose
