    cubs/rockies *TUESDAY NIGHT IN-GAME*

line tells me rockies are the play. If cubs were going to win line would be 1.70. Everyone loves the cubs but line is this low. Also 3 days doesn't effect a hard thrower as much as a off speed guy. You have cubbies bullpen is blown. Lester has blown a big game as much as he has won one. Just my opinion from being stupid ebough just a fat mexican's opinion. Fade if you want

The over seems like such a trap. Why is it so low.

And they keep juicing it up rather than going to 7.5

    What am I missing.

LMAO 3 days effects ANY pitcher regardless their arsenal. Regardless I see this like the backs/rockies last year, high scoring and back and forth

Some guys perform well on short rest, others not so much. I’m incredibly curious to go back and look at the guys who historically pitch well on 3 and see if there anything to whether they power pitchers or more off speed. My guess is most the guys who ever go on 3 are power type pitchers cause why would you bring back some soft tossing loser on short rest?

I keep seeing everyone say this, the simple fact of the matter is whatever negative impact they have from the travel should be negated by the fact they lost in this same situation last year and don't want history to repeat itself.

I think it being incredibly overblown, adrenaline carries guys in these spots. If they had to play again 2marro that would be the time I think fatigue could set in.

Rockies fading after the win streak now, not winning important games on the road, didn't even make it competitive against the Dodgers, Cubs have the home court advantage, big playoff experience too... At the -130ish I think it's worth the stab.. Gotta do it!!!

Rockies have been fun to watch though, they do have the bats and they do come on late in games typically.. Should be a good game.. I'm not loading up by any means Bankers.. I'm not that confident, but I gotta take the Cubs..

    Over should land GL!!!

I was shocked to see the Cubs only -125. I was expecting something like -160, especially with the Rockies traveling so much.

So I agree with OP that the line says Rockies win.

Rockies historically cannot hit or win in LA. Especially Nolen, Charlie, DJ. Etc. At home, against LA, they are fine.. dunno why that is.
Throw out all the games in LAD. How do the Rockies look now?

I'm not betting on it but the line is very suspicious. Everyone is talking about the Rockies traveling across the country and playing in different time zones. The Cubs are at home with their ace on the mound and they are only -130? Something smells rotten in Denmark if you ask me. Oh, and the whole world seems to be on the cubs. The books are giving everyone an early Xmas gift I guess?

I think the line should be -180 Cubs but since it's -130 I even like it more..

I'm not buying everyone is betting on the Cubs either or the line would have moved to -180 already..

-180? You on crack brother. No way they have a 64% chance of winning this game. I agree about there no way everyone betting them, I keep hearing guys say everyone in cubs yet all forum world seems to be on Rockies, or pretty split anyways.

Nothing is a lock and maybe the Rockies surprise, still you have to take the Cubs if you are laying down the green I think if you must play it...

On paper they incredibly close, the fact they playing in the wc game pretty much says they close. Cubs pen is on fumes, they not measurably better than anyone in playoffs right now at this moment.

That's the way I feel about it.. Lester is a gamer, they have the experience, they are at home, Rockies sputtering now..

I'd peg it at -180 in this elimination game.. Rockies don't have big experience in a game like this and that includes the 2 pitchers going at it tonight in Freeland and Lester in comparison.. Alot of pressure on Freeland going into this game with little to no big game experience..
