He's in Miami all the time. Seems to like that city and atmosphere. I'm picking the Phins.

Bell is an idiot, down $15mm this year and headed into FA with 18 months of rust, on the wrong side of father time, troublesome and beat to death w touches the last 5 years.

Why trade for him when u can just sign him next year? He wont play this year for franchise money, hes stated that.

lol. you're a bit lost on this one. the holdout is to force the trade. they played him last year with no contract and he will not play with this team. he will get his money when traded or report week 11 if they won't. why would they want a disgruntled guy week 11?. his move was a power move to force the trade lol. people still thinking it has anything to do with the 14 mil tag number. it is in pitts interest to trade him now with value. everyone thinks they are still in it. you wait til later no team thats out is gonna rent a guy for that price tag. gotta sell him to the dreamers now

Getting absolutely horrible advice. Can't believe his agent is letting this happen.
Bell and his agent are 100% right in his case. Why would they agree to a one year deal and let Pitt grind him into dust before cutting him loose next year because they can’t franchise him a fourth time? Giving up this years 15 million is an investment in his health.

he turned down a 70 million deal. only 45 guaranteed but paid out in first 3 years. He wants qb money. If any rb deserves it... he does. Guerley had down year 2 years ago but bell has never had down year.

You cant trade someone who isn't under contract....can you?

Pitt has no contract to trade here

Bell has nothing of value to leverage

What is the relationship between Bell and Pitt that any team would give consideration for?

I've never seen this situation before in football terms but in legal terms its clear cut....Bell will sign a franchise tag and play for Pitt this year or I'm not sure any other scenario achieves an outcome any different than FA in 2019 would, and Bell wouldn't risk injury in the 12 weeks he'd play, it'd be the worst advice anyone ever received ever.

My thoughts are he will sign before week 10-11 finish out the year then leave. Saves his body more than half a years wear and tear. It was obvious Pitt was gonna ride him into the ground this year. Good for him

this is business personal. he will play for another team. he is sitting out to be traded. he has no problem leaving the steelers. they can trade him and he is still obligated to the franchise tag with same stipulations to become a fa. once traded he will play as it is a contract year and an audition for the cash he wants. miami can literally become a playoff team with this trade.
