Why is Bill O'Brien a head coach in the NFL still?

This guy is clueless. He needs to be canned

Thank you for pointing that out. His time there was so overrated it was sick. What nobody mentions is Paterno left a stacked roster when the scandal hit. Talent wise, even with the few bailouts they had, they had the 3rd best talent in the Big 10 behind Ohio State and Michigan. Guy goes 8-4 and 7-5 and he's the next Bear Bryant.

His in game coaching is some of the worst in the league. Sad thing is, once he's fired, some dope team will hire him.

I think there were a few threads throughout the years calling out his idiocy. It's really unbelievable. I was listening to some talk radio guy interview a Texans beat writer the other day and allegedly O'Brien is locked in there for years. Ownership loves him.

The only thing that can be said in his defense is there was hardly any time between plays to assess the situation. That being said, it’s his job to deal with that

Great coaches don't have their defense sit 15 yds deep when the opposing team needs 7-10 yds to get in field goal position. Scared coaches do.

58 yard field goals are not a given. Probably wanted to hinge his chances on that instead of a potential one within 50 yards.

He has been bad from day one. They should have offered Dabo a huge deal to take over and create a long term culture for the team.

Obrien will waste Watson’s prime if he sticks with team.

He could have a pizza party for the fans during away games and ride the players around the stadium in buses before each home game

So you are saying no Nfl franchise would want to give dabo a head coaching gig?

If you think that, you should stop watching football.

    Old time approach to coaching.

Zimmer and McCarthy same thing. Combined 2-10.

    All are pasted it.
