i notice i pick too many underdogs. i like them myself but too many i think brings you closer to 50% (i.e. all underdog betting will get you to 50%)................ and too many really crappppy teams, although again they do fit my eye.

i tell people it's probably moderately more popular in canada than hockey, soccer are in alabama or louisiana.... a few people know a ton about it. a reasonable number are conversant in it. almost everyone knows the huge teams/schools but just on a very peripheral level.....
