the point of being downtown is that's it's a lot cheaper, but if you want to take your girl/wife to a nice dinner, Hugo's Cellar would be my choice and 2nd choice would be the Steak place at the Nugget

Can’t remember the name of the steak place at the nugget, but it’s top notch. Another one is the sushi restaurant at the Bellagio.

Yup, I had that on many drunken nights in Vegas... Was always a win...

Those are actually real dish pictures from Ellis Island.. I remember it looking just like that too.. I'd get the scrambled eggs though.. Very tasty.. Steaks weren't rubber either.. Juicy and thick..

Back in the day I remember that as well... Many Casino's offered really cheap specials.. Most tasted like crap though, just like many cheap buffets...

The Rio buffet years ago was another normal spot for me to get my grub on when I felt like a big buffet all you can eat throw down.. I think that was like 20 to 25 bucks back in the day I can't remember?

We used to hit Whiskey Pete's and and Buffalo Bills at the Cali/Nevada border on the way in from LA.

99 cent shrimp cocktails, I've eaten my share.

Golden Nugget has some good restaurants.

In general, food in Las Vegas is very good. All-u-can-eat sushi on Spring Mountain Rd. Good Viatnamese restaurant in the Rio.
