    line opened up at USC (-17)...sharps quickly pounced on Texas and now it has dropped a couple of points...of'course, that don't mean jack shit...I think a lot of people are thinking about the Maryland game two weeks ago (Terps won 51 - 41)...being a class of '94 U of M college park grad, I'm happy for my terps...no one is going to confuse them with Alabama but they are vastly improved and just might surprise in the Big 10 this year.

    Sammy, I never wager on USC games on or fade, ML, sides or totals. I learned my successful winning ways from one of the best there was in the business and he told me never to wager on my Alma Mater because you wager with your head, NOT your heart, and by eliminating wagering on your Alma Mater, you eliminate that potential problem. Unlike just about everyone else in here, I have had to declare my winnings on my taxes just about every season. A lot of that is due to the amount I wager. This giant in the industry taught me the ropes.
