Just found these numbers also. Interesting. Handle was actually up almost 20%. Hold just returned closer to the norm @ 5.6% from the crazy 12-13% they held the first month. Less futures and parlay wagers it seems. Peolple figuring out single game bets are the only fighting chance you have.

All good brother. MLB has been a grind this year after being up 40+ units last year. But that’s sports betting life.

    Good luck this football season.

I think states are going to realize there’s not as much money in this as they think there is.

It can’t even dent a state deficit not even 1/1,000,000th

It’s pennies the real money is in the slot machines , lottery, some table stuff

The don't want and don't need that.

They will take the bigger players that keep the deposits in and they rarely hear from them.

Trimming that CS room might end up being better for some books, as they can concentrate on both types of bettors from around the world, but not those small US guys.

Politicians in Pennsylvania are being pigs, they wants 12 million for a license and 35% of the revenue, no one has even applied for a license. I don't think the numbers mean anything until online gambling is offered, most people aren't going to drive to casinos and sportsbooks to bet when they can bet offshore from their bed and get bonuses and better numbers.

I think there real money in it for these States if they did it right. The right way to do it is to have tons of contests, great bonuses and comps, and good lines. They could also offer same day payouts to banks as well. If done right I think there is money there - its just not being done the right way yet. I don't see most State budgets being impacted that much though - states like New Jersey will be broke until they stop letting unions and their pensions run the state into hte ground.

Vegas is whore shit too.....nobody can compete with offshore companies they are gambling masterminds and miles and miles ahead of usa places

Went to Costa Rica on vacation last year. Never knew average worker there makes only $8-14 a day. Visited the Southern Carribean area of the country and San Jose. Punta Uva was the most amazing beach I've ever seen and was empty. Literally. U.S. books can't compete with offshore pricing, and offers will only get better moving forward. Sure you are guaranteed payment at U.S. based books, but all new players who get into it seriously will end up landing offshore.

Delaware is a very small state. Isn't Costa Rica bigger than Delaware? You are comparing apples with oranges.

Forget the juice, these limits are nuts, there is no money in it. There is none around for taxes.

It will be slot machines lining those places in no time, if there aren't already. I don't know Delaware.

The book and its access never bring the dollars that those fight for it claim. I think the NJ online campaign started out way shy of its projections.

Interesting to see how they make up for the numbers. Everything in such an early stage and operations will be destined to change hands, multiple times.

Sweep? Check in pal, let's get it going out there, somewhere, and bring a real book to town.

recreational bettors will throw $20 on any game they want to be regardless of what the actual ML is

for instance super bowl line of +180, they will just bet a friend $20 straight up

so who might find offshore? well guys learn odds and have a decent shot at actually winning, just as you said

and now you are adding on bonuses and lower lines to compete? ok...so the recreational bettors will be staying in usa

    who is left?

    sharps

more offshore books will go under
