Four expert cave divers from the UK will guide 12 boys and their soccer coach out of the flooded Thai cave they are trapped in, with support from Thai Navy SEALs, authorities said.

The rescue attempt is unlikely to be made today with attempts to free the boys put on hold, despite monsoonal rains resuming.

Authorities said they will wait as long as possible for the soccer team, who have been underground for two weeks, to regain their strength and learn to scuba dive.

Cave rescue specialists have cautioned against the boys diving out, except as a last resort, because of the dangers posed by inexperienced people using diving gear.

Authorities continue to pursue a third option, which is finding a shaft or drilling into the mountain in which the cave is located to find a sort of back door entrance.

They've already pumped 35million gallons and it hasn't done much, some spots made couple percent difference and some parts you can t pump so diving only realistic option

3. Some passages are so narrow, they have to go through by themselves.
4. If a kid gets stuck in a narrow passage way, they endanger the rescue divers.
5. This dive might take as long as 90 minutes. This is not an easy dive.
6. Navy Seals said they wouldn't do this dive voluntarily IF lives weren't at stake. It's that dangerous.
7. These are 11-16 year old kids. Mistakes are going to happen.

It sounds like near the scariest most dangerous thing imaginable. It will be amazing if they do survive. Especially if more water comes and makes it darker and faster flowing.

I just think them being skinny young boys is not really a huge negative here. Put a helmet on and a mask that cant come off on them. Wrap them up like a worm and do exactly what they were doing with those large oxygen cylinders in your video. If they can move 30 of those in, they can move 13 strapped up kids out.
