John Elway's helicopter run the greatest play in pro sports history?

The ultimate sacrifice on the games biggest stage.

A few plays that come to mind:

    1) Randy Moss (MARSHALL): 95-yard TD catch/run vs Army.
    2) Ortege Jenkins (ARIZONA): cart-wheel TD run vs Washington.

For pro sports history, some of the classic Home Runs were great.

For NFL, what about Tony Dorsett 99-yard TD Run? Or Franco's Immaculate Reception.

Marshawn Lynch long TD run was great, too.

Have you guys ever seen this play by former Tampa Bay Bandits star RB Gary Anderson, who then went to the Chargers?

    Looks like a 10yard leap.

The Cal/Stanford game should definitely be up there

The greatest stiff arm ever in football at any level, is from Earl Campbell. Earl grabs the DB by the throat, lifts him off the ground, literally carries him 5 yards with one hand and spikes the DB as he crosses the goalline. Earl spiked the poor guy so hard it shook the earth, the tremor throws the ref up in the air.

The DB didn't even try to get low. How was he going to tackle him? By the shoulder pads? Great run by Campbell but horrible technique by the DB. Earl didn't even have to grab his throat, he could have bowled him over easily.

John Elway, on @orangeblue760: "At this point in time, we're going to stay the course. I think there's enough good things that are going on as far as us & the way that we're playing … I’m much more encouraged this year than I was last year."
