Best point guard in the world not player

His defense has improved greatly since durant joined them with green holding everyone accountable on defense.

Undersized and underpowered, Curry played his ass off on defense when lebron switched the pick and rolls to him almost everytime. He never backed down or gave up and never called someone else over to play defense like lebron did on the other end with durant

He's now safely moved past Jane Harden bc of the vast improvement

    Best shooter, sure.

Best basketball player in the world? Not even the best on his team.

I’ve been reading a lot that a lot of players in around the league don’t like him anymore because he got very cocky, he does seem like an unlikable guy

Cincy I like your posts but you've obviously never played basketball in your life to understand the things curry does on the court

he's a great passer and a great shooter still a below avg defender and too weak gets tired at end of games and makes bone headed passes sometimes, curry is also blessed be on the best team in basketball put him on orlando and he gets exposed

He has great vision as well but the thing he does is comparable to what Messi does on the pitch

The ball is glued to his hands as he can shoot off the dribble from literally anywhere on the court, ANYWHERE

To assume shooting as a fixed variable is a mistake. There are so many variations, standing jumpshot, catch and shoot, run off screens, fadeaway, post, etc.

I can go on but the fact is what he does off the dribble is unguardable. His lightning quick release is yet another facet few have brought up which makes his shot just as good on a catch and shoot or standing still as I is off the dribble

Couple that with range literally out to the halfcourt line and it's nothing anyone has ever seen outside of a video game in the history of the nba

dont think cincy likes curry he made a thread that State would be better without him, I wish theyd trade Durant for a center or some bench help, it was more fun watching with klay and steph

bro if he didnt have all stars next to him he'd average 30+ a game, he averaged 26 this year playing next to 3 all stars having to share the ball

No toler, he'd avg 40+ a game easy along with leading the league in assists. He's got the best handle in the league.

Everyone talks about shot but it's handle, everything else flows from it. He's got top 5 shooting and top 5 vision

Put him on a Charlotte and he'd win mvp, he's now better than Harden and they were very similar before the durant move

Durant was not the only player to improve his defense during this time, if you think curry defense is trash then alot of guys should be gone including harden, love and lebron. Curry actually played defense this yr when it counted unlike the names just mentioned

Curry is not a star. He is very inconsistent. He made his name on a fluke two year run. He is nobody on state. They only needed him to beat Houston. Not even sure if he played in that series. Didn't see him. KD is the whole team

was gonna say 35+ but people might think thats absurd. yes its the insane handles that separates him too, I rate him 2nd behind Kyrie. Both not the quickest around but crazy handles being able to keep dribble alive and knowledge of seeing defender leaning and knowing when to take advantage of it. both also top 5 finishers at the hoop, take contact and finish right or left very well and theyre pgs, crazy.

LOL-LOL-LOL - curry put GSW on the MAP? Best shooter ever too play the game? Stretches defense out 30 feet from the basket ? Both curry and Durant need each other - subtract any of them ? GSW doesn’t Win- walker does not shoot like curry - terrible comparison ( won championship before Durant - lead a 73 regular season win team before Durant ? But I guess curry is overrated
