    I've been saying this for 30Y. the top players in history care more about the slams. Just like golf, the majors count the most.

    i know Thiem is a nice young player, i like the kid. i know he is strong on clay. i also know he beat Rafa on clay at a smaller tourney lately, but has NO chance to beat Rafa unless Rafa gets hurt.

    Thankfully Thiem beat him in Madrid so the books have given us a generous -425 gift. At Roland Garros Rafa should be at least -600.

    I saw Thiem today, he was subpar on the return game.. Rafa gave Thiem Madrid as Rafa needed a break imo... Rafa started out slow today like he always does... Delpotro had 6 break points befor Nadal had any. Thiem should continue to close the gap in skill from here on out but im not sure he has whst it takes to win

    Thiem first set,@3.20 win set@1.65 bit worried since thiem wasn't that great in semis but Rafael been starting very slow and thiem game matches rafa on clay better than nearly everyone in top 10, this not same rafa anymore hopefully thiem a big time player
