Trop, Caesar’s & Balleys giving away free rooms to my friends M-F all summer basically. If you got Caesar’s/MGM players cards you should get free or cheap weeknights and then just gotta pay up for weekend nights.

Or if you go with a crew there are beautiful AirBnB’s on the harbor

Detroit to philly flights for a third of the price of Vegas flights.

Also Borgata nightclub is awesome, Vegas-level nightclub with bottle service half the price of Vegas.

I’m in my late 20s and have been to Vegas 6 times and AC twice. And honestly, I’m choosing AC > Vegas next time now that there’s sports betting. Gonna host my fantasy football draft in AC later this summer. The only thing that’ll make me choose Vegas over AC will be playing in WSOP tourneys.

Give it a try guys, you won’t be disappointed.

If all the casinos get sports betting it should definitely help Atlantic City

In a press conference on Friday, Murphy again made it clear there would be no sports betting at Monmouth Park until he had a chance to review the legislation, likely sometime next week at the earliest.

First glimpse I've had of what an eastern track\sportsbook looks like since the legalization.

If the new "Starbuck's Rule" is in effect, I know what you mean about the riff-raff.

    Still pretty exciting to me.

There will be large numbers from surrounding states just because
    they can drive to it.........

Just like surrounding states frequented AC until their home states
    opened casinos...........

Couldn't get past the "We are at Monmouth Park sport book by William Hill" part of video...

Coach I don't think I can take anymore of the bullshit hype so can you just text me (918 number) when they let us start betting again with real books like pinny without going through an agent?

There used to be a cheap direct flight between Detroit and AC. I think they discontinued it. I'd probably check it out if it came back.

Spirit is the only airline that does direct Detroit to AC and it’s seasonal. But it’s a half hour Uber from AC airport to the boardwalk, so might as well fly Detroit to Philly direct (more options & cheaper) then rent a car for the hour drive.

took the back way yesterday from Ocean City heading to brigantine. Midtown still such a shit hole. As long as you stay in the marina district (Borgota Nugget Harrahs) it’s fine. Really curious to see how things are once hard rock & ocean club open end of month.

White House Subs still the shit though.

Has Murphy signed the bill yet? I'm coming home July 4th weekend to see the family. I'd love to go hammer some lines at Monmouth Park. Always loved going for a day of ponies there.

Hell yeah...train drops you off right at the place. 45 minute ride from my hometown, Roselle Park. No worries about driving drunk with all the state troopers staked out at every exit down there.
