I can't deal with bad losses

I can deal with blowout losses i can't deal with losing at end of games, it happened to me 3 straight wagers and now i'm beyond tilted

went back to my local friday bet some games this weekend was doing great up 3k going into today and then the wheels just feel apart

Sweeden Landsronka +140 leading 1-0 until 90th min boom equalizer i lose 1-1
Sweeden Falkenbergs +205 leading 1-0 until 87th min boom equalizer i lose 1-1
Uruguay River Plate +185 leading 1-0 until 92 min boom equalizer i lose 1-1

i don't know how to get past losing , think i'm done with sports betting for a while until i figure out how deal with losing better, when i win i'm great when i lose i get pissed off

any tips how to deal with losing, seems only 1 that would work is not play at all

You need to either find other entertainment or not watch games you wager on

    It happens all the time

I would ask Seaweed since he only posts 1 winner out of every 15 bets. He should know best about dealing with losing.

You just have to get control of your emotions, there's no other way.

Emotions tend to short circuit rational thinking and it's a good idea to step away if it is getting to you.

The next best thing to controlling emotions is being able to recognize that it can be a problem if they aren't under control.

This goes for both winning and losing and it sounds like you are experiencing it on both ends.

You could try to not watch what you bet on but some people rely on watching to handicap.

    Good Luck.

It's kind of like a broken heart, only time heals it

Although some strange tail helps with a broken heart so maybe do a parlay with some round robins

"When I win I'm great, when I lose I get pissed off" lmao, think that pretty much all of us bro!!! You not alone!! Lol

not much I can say to help really, for me with baseball it all about volume so expect to take a lot of losses, my goal is to just hang around 50% as I play mostly dogs and plus money totals, when I'm above that things are going really well. Don't much care how I lose a game anymore, just shrug it off and move on to next, long as losing days don't start multiplying on me im ok, hit a bad run and none of us immune to what you going thru pal. Hang in there.

Last thing you want is emotions in gambling . Younger gamblers , it seems , is too caught up in their bets .
Bet the plays you see value , place them , move on to looking at tomorrow . Nothing changes by watching , refreshing scores .
It's a done deal , win or lose . None of that is changing the fact you either will win or lose it .
Best of luck on getting past the emotional beats of it , it'll never stop unless you stop it yourself .

Good advice. Honestly it been years since watching and hanging on the results of a given game where the action was a "high" for me. Most my entertainment value comes from capping the games.. As you said once the play made nothing more ya can do about it.

that's not bad advice, don't watch or follow the games , it does feel really good when you cap a game and it turns out just how you expected, its not even the money amount that bothers me, i bet what i can afford it's just the winning and losing, when i win i'm stoked i feel great when i start losing it's like the wheels are falling off and i can't stop it.

Only baseball I watch is cards games and that really doesn't matter if I made a play or not, unless I bet against them then I don't watch. I find myself watching bits and pieces of these playoff games but rarely the whole thing. Nobody likes losing bud, just have to look big picture and roll with the punches. since you not betting above your means it shouldn't be a problem. It usually when guys betting more than they can afford when it gets really bad.

Soccer is a penetrating death trap. The only time I'll ever bet it is if I see a posted play from a verified mush and I fade. Fukk it. I'll stick to pro and college football and basketball, baseball, and hockey. Maybe a spot play in tennis, NASCAR, or golf. That's all I need.

I do it now , Bet every game today last night after analysis .
Honestly what the hell is it going to help after you click submit ? I very seldom watch it , sure most do , that makes it even worse .
Past week alone lost 3 9th inning or lster due to shitty relievers . Woke up today to see my Mets U7.5 hit 8 by giving up 6 runs in the 14th , was 1-1 until then . If I would've knew , would have been hell going to bed .
Did I use to do it the miserable way , refresh score , espn ticker , ? Absolutely , learn over many years , no value in it at all .

The odds you bet at were great I would expect some losses...if you were wagering the same amount on all games and had a bankroll in check the loses don’t bother you...it’s when your betting over your head and chasing loses piss yah off.....that’s been my experience at least

    start drinking

sometimes it eases your pain, sometimes it worsens it

if it eases it, problem solved

if it worsens it, i doubt you really care about the game due to your other new problems from it

either situation makes you stop caring about the loss

    It happens to every gambler.
Riding out the loses can be gut-wrenching.
LIMIT the number of wagers. Stay with plays where you have an edge.
If you're up nicely grinding Mon--->Fri.
    Then roll with your winnings.
Watch out for Saturday and SUNDAY.

My worst blowout was women tennis and Tie Break played,my girl was 6:0 in TB and lost 8:6,you cant beat that.

Cincy you need to learn how to handle tough losses or losses anyway, sometimes maybe when is very hard take 1 Xanax.
Somehow i learn that and im not tilting everytime i get hit hard.
Sometimes i do,but very rarely now.

Im lucky I wager on US sports and Im not even from the US. So all the action happens from 2 am to 5 am and I cant even watch the games. Best thing ever to stay away and check the scores when its all over.

Did you watch or live checked the scores of those games? Because if you stay away from the games you wager on and check the scores when its all over theres much less disappointment involved. You take the emotional rollercoaster away which is good for me.

LOL I've never thought I won anything until the game was over. They don't pay off late in the 4th QTR, they pay off after the game is over.
This GA boy had the Falcons in that unbelievable Super Bowl. But I never bitched or whined one bit about losing that. Because I never thought I had won anything since the game wasn't over.
