Why aren’t sharps pounding the Cavs?

All I ever hear is how LeBron never goes down 0-2 in the Eastern Conference playoffs. His track record is amazing after losing Game 1. Ok then why isn’t Cleveland getting hammered? Why haven’t they moved to -2 or -2.5? Series price? Has barely moved since being released after Game 1.

Sharps obviously don't like Cavs as shown by the line, but sharps and books have been getting killed in these playoffs. Sharps and books were wrong in nearly every game in the Cavs/Raptors and the Boston/Philly series. Sharps hit Rockets to 2.5 at pinny yesterday and look how they game went.

But I think there is a very real chance Cavs go home in a 0-2 hole.

The Celtics are for real. It's hard to beat an athletic team that plays defense as scrappy as they do. They're 100% bought in to the system. The only way to beat a team like that is to play tight defense back, have a big to pound inside and run up the fouls on them. Having the ability to bury a lot of 3's also helps but the main ingredient is being able to play tight defensively. Cavs can barely play team defense. Celtics are going to get the easy transition buckets while Cleveland will struggle for every basket. LeBron is going to have to drive to the hoop all night and shoot 20+ FT to have a chance.

Cavs got pounded in game one that's why the line is not moving in the Cavs direction.. Even the public and sharps are a bit skidish in playing the Cavs in this game 2 because of how poorly they looked in that game one. Celtics really dominated that game 1.

I still think ya gotta trust in Lebron and the Cavs to give their best effort in this rebound game tonight... With that being said -

IN ON THE CAVS AT PICK EM IS JIBS!!!!

Going into both the ECF and WCF series, I thought split for the first two games. Now I'm not so sure about either. I feel more confident in the Rockets but I wouldn't be shocked if both series went 2-0. I think I got to stick by my gut and assume both series swing back 1-1. Expect a huge game from LeBron, but he may score 40 and they could still lose.

I still think Cavs have the advantage, even if they go down 2-0. It sounds crazy but it is simple. Who has a better chance of winning on the road, Cavs or Celtics? I'll say the Cavs. All they have to do is steal one game in Boston and the series is flipped. Boston is all role players, they play great at home, but typically don't show up on the road. They sure didn't show up in Milwaukee, and if not for the Sixers choking away game 3, they wouldn't have any road wins in these playoffs.

Ability to win on the road is very much matchup based. Think of the '08 Celtics, they had a rough time in going 0-6 in Atlanta/ Cleveland and then got 2 wins in Detroit and then another win in LA.

It's all pre-written...LeBumbum will lose tonight, be down 2 games to none and then go on a 4 game dominant streak to win the universe. NBA sells more gear, TV people get good ratings and Nike sells more LeBumbum's.

Likely the same reason you will flip flop again on the cavs. Off / on/ off / on. Vegas tends to bait the gullible. Don't kill the messenger.

When you have 5 all-stars, and can score at ease whenever they want, doesn't matter where they play, does it??? No matter who wins the east, no one is beating GSW. I took them before either finals started at GSW to win NBA championship: -138. I thought that was cheap.

would have still lost, even without that run.

if boston rolls over lebum again tonight..they might break him mentally..i see no chance for cavs tonight.

doubtful. the total still only missed by 14 points (205). had it been a bucket for bucket during that stretch it would have sailed over.

    o204 a gimme tonight.

OKC had harden/Westbrook/Durant/ibaka? How did that turn out? Steve Kerr implanted the right system along with great players - look at all the ball movement and screens GSW plays with - then look at houston heavy iso

Lebron testing the waters in game 1. Game 2 look for a 45+ points and another triple double. Cavs blow the Celts outta the Atlantic, you heard it here first. Wouldn't be surprised to see Lebron go off for 50+ but i'll take the safer 40'ish point line.

If the Cavs get blown out again tonight I'd say Celtics are gonna win this series.. You shouldn't expect to win a series when your team is getting dominated in that kind of fashion in the first 2 games..

    Cavs show up tonight!!!
