Maybe tb was good to get in the Eastern finals. No one had Washington. Some maybe had the Jets like myself. Vegas lol no.
NBA zero parity. Rockets vs state was expected from around December. Now that's a good matchup don't get me wrong but on the whole NBA playoffs lack competition.
NBA is closer to the WWE than it is to the NHL. It's 87% orchestrated. Lebron will go to his 8th final in a row, mainly because he brings in the most eyeballs. He's a great player, but the league makes sure he gets to the finals. That doesn't happen in any other major sport.
Cannot compare the 2. NBA is a garbage product and has been for YEARS.

Not even sure why the NBA Eastern Conference exists.
The GS/Rockets match-up is the Championship series.
The Warriors were crowned CHAMPIONS before a single season game was played

When you have a regular season that doesnt mean anything, it takes away from the final product being anything important imo. Can't just expect viewers to show up in June and care all of the sudden.
Overtime playoff hockey is probably the best thing to watch. i don't get why soccer doesn't do golden goal in elimination/championship games

Unlike Canadians to the north, folks in the USA could care less about hockey:
1) Unless he lives in an NHL franchise city and his team is in the playoffs.
2) If it's the Olympics and the USA is kicking ass again.
Hockey is 'Merica's distant 4th sport slightly above soccer.

Love the NHL playoffs, anything can happen. A hot goalie Can lead their team to the Stanley Cup. Jets/Predators game 7 was fun to watch. NBA is boring as usual and so predictable. Regular season or playoffs, tough to watch.

The number one seed in the league was Nashville. They were odds on favorite to win it all. In nhl the number one seed hasn't won 8/9 years.
The number one seed in the NBA was Houston. They are still playing. NBA playoffs we're good the whole first round and then they turned to shit like usual.

The West in the nba played out like it was supposed to pretty much other than two first round upsets. The East had upsets in both semifinal series according to oddsmakers.
