Darnold is a project with more upside, but Rosen & Mayfield are way more ready to start on day 1.

If they were smart they'd trade the #1 pick for #12 and #22 plus next years #1 from the Bills.

Then take the best non-QB available with #4 #12 and #22 and grab Lamar Jackson with the #33 or #35 pick.

There's a ton of good talent in this draft. 5 of the top 35 picks in the draft??? Doesn't matter who the QB is, they'd be a better team instantly.

This IS gambling related because you can BET it.

And Darnold still -140 favorite at 5 Dimes, Allen is +160.

They should get Barkley at 4 since it looks like QBs are going 1-2-3.

And Rosen is NOT one of them so somebody could potentiially get a semi-bargain as Rosen may not go Top 10.

As I said, Rosen probably won't go Top 10 barring trades.

In 5 years...where will we see the standing of Darnold? Rosen? Mayfield?

I'd seriously question Rosen's attitude issue. He's going to be a bum.

I'm not too hi on Darnold. He's just never jumped off the page to me. And OhioSt bossed him.

I actually think Mayfield and RUDOLPH will be good value picks.
Mayfield WOULD have been a decent value pick a bit later in the draft, but I think he is a reach at #3.

But he is pretty good flyer in second half of first round considering he was talked about as #1 overall pick potential what, a month ago? His attitude is scaring teams away.

If any team has to depend on a QB in this draft stepping in at the beginning of this season, they are in HUGE trouble. Every QB in this draft are projects, though some are much bigger projects than others. The teams that succeed in this draft are the teams that will get the good players in rounds 2, 3, and 4. After the first 15 or so picks in round 1, everything seems to even out and with 4 to 5 QB's going in the top 15, there probably will be only 10 players or less that can step in and start day 1.

    Shocking to say the least.

I don't claim to be an NFL scout, but this is not the selection I would make.

    Sam Darnold.
they better take darnold if they want any shot at making the playoffs

Allen has a high ceiling but he could well be a complete bust. I think he's more of a long-term reclamation project than a developmental project. I'm glad my team won't be picking him.

Prolly not. Should get about 8-9 wins though. If they drafted Barkley, playoffs for sure.

Are these odds old? Barkley +250 over Rosen is too good to be true.

Browns will get Barkley at #4 anyway so they have the right idea for a change. I am not so sure about taking Allen over Darnold #1 though.

Wouldn't risk losing a shot at barkley or chubb if I were Cleveland. No Andrew Luck coming out of this draft. They have to come away with a 10+ year pro bowler whether or not they get it right at qb with one of their picks.

If there are no more trades, Browns should already know Giants and Jets are taking QBs. Only risk would be if Giants trade down after Browns make Allen or Darnold first pick.

browns have had a very good offseason, absolutely think they'd make the playoffs if they draft barkley

drafting any of these qb's or most any qb wouldn't help the wins total this year (or likely ever with these qb's)
