    How do you QUIT gambling?

I’m tired of the ups and downs. Not even worth it to me. Lost a lot and can never recoup. Even when I win I don’t enjoy it as it’s just winning back a small portion. I need to find a hobby but I have nothing to do or no one to do it with. Seriously never been so depressed before like this...

When it’s the majority source of my income you can’t. You just keep grinding & figure out ways to capitalize on your style that works.

As Yogi Berra once said "The only way to start is to start". In your case quit. Take up golf. Very challenging. You'll spend as much on clubs as one bet but you get to keep them and not give them back. Golf balls a different story. Go to church, also, that will take care of the depression.

Hmm I feel ya. I'm pretty sure we all got depressed before. I would bet bigger and get on that hot streak. After that streak, bring down the amount of game you bet per day/week and work from there. Hope it gets better for you bud.

You should look into crypto as your next hobby. No ups and downs there

In all seriousness, you've at least acknowledged you're sick of it, which is the first step.

The late Nick the Greek aka Nick Dandolos once said. The next best thing to gambling & winning is gambling & losing. Tony you’re not one of us. A true degenerate who seeks out wagering for life’s purpose. Go home Tony & be normal.

You get drunk first. Then you log in to your offshore account and change your password. Then you log out. When you get sober you will not remember your password. Then you quit gambling.

Just go pro and use betpoints for your action fix.Only costs you a small donation compared to real money. If you win then you get to eat subway and pizza for free or buy cool electronics

.Enter sbr contests for more action. This is seriously what I have done to cut WAY down on real money reloading.Havent made a bet in two months with real money.

Or you could just call GA

Naahhh. Don't quit. Just use bankroll management. If you have a 2k sports wager bankroll. You can bet $20 bux. Maybe $100 on a real good game. This will prevent crushing losses. Yes it slows down the win side. but the better way to win is gave a bigger bankroll. i.e a 10k bankroll allows a $100- $200 wager. Do not martingale or chase as you will eventually lose your roll. Do not borrow from your sports bankroll to bet in the casino. In fact unless you have your own separate casino bankroll do not even go there. If you also play poker online play only at books that allow you to disengage their casino. This way in a bad beat day you don't go into the online blackjack tables chasing the bad beat, where you lose your poker roll. Online poker (nl cash) you need a bankroll about 25x your buyin. So if you are playing .10 cent/.25 cent that's a $600 bankroll. So you have 2 separate bankrolls one for sports one for poker. These never intermingle.

You can wean yourself off of gambling by joining BetOnline.ag

That way when they suffer a DDOS attack and the site is on the fritz, you'll have no choice but to watch the parade go by.

Swallow your pride and enter into the GA program.. Begin the 12 step program..

Have a friend that was a compulsive gambler and the worst of the worst. My college roommate.. We'd go to Vegas and he'd get tunnel vision and tune out in the sportsbooks.. I remember.. Ended up Living on a little boat to save rent money because he owed so much, he almost lost his wife also..

Completely broke and in debt and at the end of his rope.. Funny thing is he wasn't a bad gambler, just had no discipline.. Double up and double up then lose everything thinking he couldn't lose...

He checked into GA got saved and today he's got a big business, 3 kids and a huge house in Malibu, probably brings in 30 grand a month now....

True story.. Some people have no discipline and need GA.. That's what it's there for.. Call and go in humble... Will change your life around...

Join a gym. Work out everyday. It's a hobby that you don't need anyone else to do it with.
Learn a foreign language. You have a smart phone? Download the app "DuoLingo". It's free. That will stimulate your mind.
    Try some DIY home projects.
Read the entire Bible word for word.

I still gamble, but I find time to do all these other things that I mentioned. You gotta be balanced. You can't spend all your time playing online poker, or sports wagering, etc etc. If you have kids, spend time with your kids. If you are single, go on a date. If you are married, spend time with your wife. If you can't find anyone to date, then get on POF, Tinder, Match and look at profiles/pictures.

If all you do is spend your free time thinking about gambling, then your life is gonna suck, especially if you've lost a lot. It'll just reinforce all your past losses. Everyone makes bad investments. The key to making a good investment is knowing when to stop a bad one. If gambling is that for you, then just give it up. Open a TD Ameritrade account, put your money into some no load Mutual Funds, and get your fix from watching the market.

Bet SBR Bet points instead of real money... You still got action and can look at it that way.. You do need to go PRO though so if you do win a bunch of bet points you can actually get something real in the SBR store or with bitcoin when cashing out.. You'll get reloaded every day with 12 free bet points.. Pretend every bet point is one dollar.. Use your imagination...

Just an idea to curb the cravings for you frigg'n junkies.... ..

SBR is definitely the place to quit your gambling habit. You should stick around here on Friday nights. SBR has their very own GA Support Group every Friday Night. Great group of guys, I'm sure you'll fit right in.
