Can one of you experienced guys enlighten me on upcoming Apple stock split.

    I’m currently a shareholder at $310/avg

looking back if you invested into Apple right before last split in 2014 you almost 5x since then.

Main question is...what equates to a successful play on this split for investors, buying now before a for sure run up the next month and likely sell off before the split, or waiting until after the split? Or just waiting for the crash next year?

FYI, I’ve tried to do some research by asking everyone I come across at opportune moments....”did you get a stimulus check”...”oh yeah...what did you buy?l”

I’ve done this for the past past month..

Guess what overwhelming answer has been.....

Appreciate your offerings. Can you please give a brief summary of the symbols you offer and your thoughts? Up 120% so far today. The pennies scare me due to the % of volatility. Love to make 120% but I'm preservation of capital.

My long term holds are TTD, AAPL, SE, DKNG, GAN, and FSLY.

Short-to-long term I have ZVO and AYRO. ZVO is an online education company that I researched and has a lot more stability than BOXL. BOXL is a good play for one day. It can get volatile but it shoots back down. ZVO has shown more steady growth.

Also put a few bucks on SNSS this morning. Cheap penny stock that I had triggered to buy if it fell under .30 after their offering closed, which it just did. Should be able to get back to over .40 sometime in the next couple weeks. Has a lot of buyer volume which I like. It's just stopped by shorts.

Top 3 most common uses of stimulus I found from ppl I’ve asked

fyi, majority of ppl I come across are working class and white collar, ie doctors, nurses, patients (>40y/o used for household & savings/ young ppl obviously more consumer goods spending)

    1. Debt/Savings (over 50%)
    2. Household good (new bed, furniture, fridge)
    3. Tech (phone, computer)

interesting to me...maybe a small non random sample but a lot of this money just got pumped right back into banks and creditors. Which for individuals is the smartest thing you can do.

I’m guessing the next round will be used even more towards savings and debt now that ppl have felt some economic pain. Also guessing everyone getting the travel bug and considering a drive to beach for vacation.

Got a little busy yesterday and was gonna post this am but saw the market was going parabolic

    “BTFD”
Uber: nothing wrong here except pandemic
GAN: Snowball laid it out pretty well no need to explain, keep buying
AT&T: trading at book value and between 5G, HBO max(May emerge as streaming giant vs Netflix) plus DC comics it’s long n strong

    Watchlist
5G towers are trading lower may be a buy in opportunity here. I’m already rolling with Crown castle and hoping to add anything close to 160

Cheesecake Factory anything close to 20 is add for me

ABEV: already in here at 2.6 and would love to lower my avg at 2.3

i disagree about the smartest thing to do pumping it right back into fiat paper money that is about to collapse

i would say 3 best ways to spend the $1200 would've been

    1) gold
    2) guns
    3) vacation

Just sold and am cashing out my profit with FSLY. Put in $5k two months ago and got my 100% profit and exited with $10k. It may continue to sneak up but I've heard some rumblings it's getting overpriced so decided to get out. It's been a great week with that stock but I wouldn't be surprised if it goes back down a bit.

I want to invest the $10k I got from there in another really good stock for the rest of 2020 that I hope can get another solid return. If anyone has any good ideas, let me know. I've already got a lot of $$$ in TTD, SE and AAPL.

if you have a day job keep in mind you might owe 2k of that 5k profit in taxes... so you really only have 8k to invest

Right now I’d look for value instead of growth if you want a couple month swing trade the airlines are looking very cheap right now, especially Southwest & Spirit. I’d stick with airlines who rely on domestic flights. But I’m guessing these will see a 20-30% profit at some point in next few months.

Gonna have some fun today with Kodak just to liven up my day. Bought at $15. Will get out before end of day but wanna see how high it can run. Keep adjusting my stop loss up so at least I make profit. I swear that stock is on crack. Holy volatility. Fun to watch.

I’ll say this. I’ve made some good stock decisions and bad stock decisions over my time. Buying Zovio at $3 a few weeks back is by far one of my best plays ever. Love that stock.

I think I got minimal response , but still think BLNK is worth a look and comment. I'm in around 9 CB.
