I looked at some replays of their games and they have had a lot of bad luck and also no puck luck. Not saying they didn't play bad at times but the games they lost could've easily swung they other way.

Secondly I believe this is a good time to "buy low" on the Isles. A few weeks ago they would've been a favorite in this spot. So the price is right to make a play here and hopefully things start to swing their way along with being real hungry right now.

I just saw this as being +EV and opportunity to grab a good price.

Good luck if you press the button

Thanks for explaining. The buy low logic makes sense. However the best goalkeeping they've got in over two weeks was from call-up Chris Gibson on Saturday against the Penguins. They rose up and played a better quality game, but lost 3-2. Now Islanders traveled across the country and into Canada to play Vancouver tonight. Both teams now know they're not making the playoffs. So do both teams play loose, or will Islanders simply not care as a team tonight?

Matthew Barzal will be motivated as he is a Vancouver native. But what about the rest of team? Tavares has been ice cold and probably already dreaming about which team he's going to sign with in the summer.

Islanders are 13-27 W/L in their last 40 games. Halak scheduled to start in net.

I'm considering playing Vancouver in this one. Got about 5 minutes to decide!
