    this all sets up great for rodgers except his age right now. But if it works out then matt ryan's deal is next then russell wilson and then rodgers can get a monster deal.

    don't even really think age matters, these top level QB's have these teams by the balls, they have no choice as Rodgers can EASILY afford to hold out a season whereas teams cannot.

    this just shows how crucial and rare good qb's are... even if you are only semi sure you have something, you have to fork out big $$$$. If I think I heard like only 75 million is guaranteed . As a niner fan I can say I hope they pay out the full contract.

    A million bucks a game. Considering what is earned from every game, doesn't sound too out of line if he turns out to be a top liner.

    They have been paying people like Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc a million per tv episode for years.
