Tons of TD scorer anytime hit.
Everyone's total yards & receptions went over.
The team FGs & team TDs & total FGs & total TDs went over.
All these props moved from -110/-115 to -125/-135.

Bettor x spread out 6M across Vegas books.
    All on Eagles ML.

Books got killed and the slots will tighten up this week!

Like you said, tighten slots, add 30 cents to drinks, add 20 bucks to rooms, heck add an extra deck to blackjack.

    I believe it Mr. Gold.

The money was well split and the props well organized. There were a lot of props that were low numbers available for the public to consume. The public won almost every one of the props I was tracking in that category.

For these give and take markets it wasn't very mixed. Common bet patterns all went one direction, the money was one sided at a macro level.

It's not that crazy, it's just a prop market, but it was easy pickens for the casual bettor for sure. Some props that looked like sucker bets took their time but eventually paid. Nearly all of them did.

The official numbers are in. As expected, the results were not good for Nevada sportsbooks, as they got the worst outcome (Eagles outright, over and many popular props won). Still, the books got a very small win. I guess some late money on Pats and most teasers losing helped them to stay afloat.

Tack on another record to Super Bowl 52.

In addition to setting a handful of all-time highs on the field, the Philadelphia Eagles’ 41-33 victory over the New England Patriots on Sunday night brought record betting handle in Nevada. Bettors wagered a total of $158.58 million throughout the state’s 198 sports books, according to a press release from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.
That’s $20.1 million more than last year’s Super Bowl, which held the previous record. A new high has now been set in four of the last five years.
Bookmakers won’t remember the Eagles’ win as fondly, though. The sports books collectively made only $1.17 million on this year's Super Bowl for a hold of .7 percent.
That’s the lowest hold percentage on a Super Bowl win for casinos since 1996, when they held .6 percent on the Denver Broncos’ 31-24 win over the Green Bay Packers. Sports books have only suffered a loss on the Super Bowl twice in 29 years, since the gaming commission began tracking the numbers.
The Eagles winning a high-scoring game was the worst-case scenario for the majority of books, with bettors loading up on the underdogs to win outright on the money line as well as the “over” 48 points.

Hi-scoring game, so most player-props went over. Logic would be that Tourists bet players to go over + they flew over.

The books got destoyed. I knew it as soon as they opened Eagles +5.5. If they have opened as Pats -2.5 a lot of bets would have been made on the favorite.

That's a very valid point, Pavy. I'm surprised the spread wasn't -3 or lower. Would have balanced the books better.

Lay a fat price + get what u deserve. The books KNEW that bettors would be warm to the Eagles. Why offer them > FG, when they didn't have to?

I disagree with your premise fellas. The books made a profit in Vegas. The hold percent was small but they still made a profit.

They knew what they were doing.

Remember, the books as a whole have only lost twice since they have been recording the numbers in Nevada.

Books definitely came out ahead on props. The losses on game itself are easily offset by tables and slots.

JJ is still believes that the casinos really give a shit about book and sports bettors. You are a rung below horse bettors and a coin flip vs poker fleas as to how little casinos give a shit about you.

No books got buried on props. Bet limits weren't big enough to bury anybody.

If MGM reports they lost 2 mil on game and props it is a citywide figure. Divide it by the 6 or 7 books they operate and it is less than 500k per property. A solid weekend of slot machine hold covers that and then some.

Your people on the ground are fishhead(who is scrounging for change and dropped tickets) and bobby(who is still trying to figure out velcro shoes).
