Definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome!! I trust jerry West !! Ever notice there clearing up all cap space for maybe Paul George and lebron James ?
Didn't say anything about a title....I said back to sucking!

Who’s to say that’s it’s even crazy if they get rid of doc rivers and his son that even Chris Paul can return with lebron James and Paul George !! Not sure if they can all fit in the cap

Whether they get any of the guys they targeting so what, clearly no sense in paying Blake if your goal to contend for titles.

That's an understatement, Ish Smith the starting PG with Reggie Jackson down is ranked 27th is the NBA is assist average per game, even if Reggie was healthy his 5.5 APG is bottom half of the league.

I just looked at the entire rosters numbers, besides Drummond's rebounding, this team has nothing, zero.

Pistons have drafted poorly. Can't afford to do that when you're not a FA destination. Now clutching for straws.

Pistons got absolutely fleeced in this trade. I don't like the Clippers but they got the best of this trade by a long shot.

terrible deal for the pistons. i live 30 mins outside Detroit and all this is, is a money grab. they wanted a big name and gave up damn near the entire team and a 1st and 2nd rd pick to do it. the only problem is its blake griffin. overratted from the jump. i dont know who got this approved but they need to pay for the new arena i guess.

Avery Bradley is an inconsistent player on offense. Tobias Harris is an inconsistent player all around. They look good some nights. Then other nights I just see lots of shitty play and easy misses. Pistons still got fleeced though. Drummond, Jackson, and Griffin make too much money. Pistons best shooter Tolliver will play more at least. Kennard sucks too as far as I’m concerned

    Detroit organization.... keeping Drummond?

I thought for sure the deal would of been a few players and swapping Drummond for Griffin?

Tom Gores doesn't know dik about basketball.

Blake will make this Pistons team better... Question is how long can he stay healthy though? They actually may make the playoffs now if Blake can stay healthy... Blake will bring veteran leadership and he will play hard every night..

That about sums up the trade for the Pistons.. Blake will be their leading scorer game after game...

Clippers win because they were never gonna win in the playoffs with Blake and he's always getting injured..

Still, it’s easy to declare a team a winner when it sheds a big salary, replaces it with a few useful parts (Avery Bradley, Tobias Harris) and picks up a first-round pick along with it. Think about it: How many teams are excoriated for tearing down a middling roster and selling a fan base on future stars and cap flexibility? Boston and Philadelphia have given way to Atlanta and Sacramento. A rebuild is easier to sell than Girl Scout cookies. The Clippers could have two lottery picks in the talent-rich 2018 draft and clean books in 2019 — when Kawhi Leonard, Jimmy Butler and others could hit the free-agent market.

Tobias Harris was gone end of the year anyhow so losing him is nothing. Cleveland owner looking to buy the Pistons with strong connections to LA Clippers. Personally know these connections and owner. Look to see both sides at Clipper game in Detroit Feb 9th. I will be sitting row 1 behind Tom Gores.

I'd say Lakers are an even less likely destination. As you mentioned, there's the Kobe thing. The Lakers are also really young, and time is running out for LeBron, so I can't see him wanting to be a part of that. Nor can I see LeBron wanting anything to do with Lavar Ball.

The Clippers could conceivably clear enough space to add LeBron and a partner of his choice, but... is Doc Rivers still a part of this? LeBron reportedly is not considering the Clippers at this point anyway, and if you believe this article, he never was.
