I had it 1st week back after work from Christmas Shutdown.
We had several put in the ER from it , Dentist 25 minutes from me died from it just last Friday . We've had about 5 deaths within a 100 mile radius including 2 kids , schools shutdown completely due to quantity.
I've never seen it remotely close to this bad at any other time .
This shit is no joke , beat the hell out of me for 5-6 days straight , usually 3 I'm good .

Yup everyone I know got it or has it now.. I got it few weeks ago and I was as sick as a dog, got creative though. I beat it by drinking Tequila straight (slices of lemon as a chaser). First time I tried getting hammered off Tequila when sick. Guess what it worked!!!! Got a wicked hang over the next day but I killed that germ dead in it's tracks.. I don't drink hard liquor either. Worked like a charm...

I say get a bottle of Tequila and slam shots with lemon slices til your hammered, eat a good healthy meal, slam some raw garlic and vitamin C and crash. Drink a ton of water right before you crash though for the night... Flu cure in one day... Hang over not fun though the next day but better then dealing with a week long wicked flu bug..

Flu shot is crap by the way... My take anyways on this current nasty flu bug going around..

Get a clear tequila.. This stuff is cheap and works.. For a cheap tequila it tastes pretty good too..

I didn't puke but was hammered, probably had a small fever at the time and was majorly congested and feeling like complete crap when I started to drink the Tequila. I was in bed and very sick with the flu...

Got hammered immediately and all symptoms started to go away, I was having a good time and feeling pretty good in no time.. Next day not so fun with the hang over..

Flu gone though.. Bye bye.. True story.. Drank coconut water all day long the next day to help with the hang over..
